Notice he said: "A simple adjustment on how he presents his positions". He did not say: "A simple adjustment on his positions". A little less "first-rate ass clown" and a little more statesmanlike behavior would have done wonders.

Trumps gonna Trump. There will be a primary and it will be interesting. In the end let’s hope we put forth a candidate that can win. JC

I stand by my statement... I didn't say he was perfect (NONE of us are), so certainly there's always room to improve, but just switching to DeSantis won't change ANYTHING! The Left and the Media already hate him (remember COVID), and that isn't going to change, it'll just intensify! He's similarly in your face (and 'unbending') defending his positions when attacked. It's one of the things you like about him...AND it's one of the things you liked about Trump! I like DeSantis and he'll make a GREAT President, but trust me, the day he announces, they'll all hate him just as much as they hate Trump! If (really when) he runs, there WILL be a seemingly coordinated effort by the Democrats, the 'Deep State'/Washington establishment, the legacy 'State Media', and the globalist Left to destroy him because he's a HUGE threat to their power and the status quo! Honestly, it's naive to think otherwise... ____________________________________________________________ If Some is Good, and More is Better.....then Too Much, is Just Enough !! I agree. It will be interesting. BUT for now, the focus of anyone with the ability to help should be on Arizona and Georgia. Kari Lake and Walker can still win. "When we win, first line of action is to restore honesty to Arizona elections," Lake said. We have to figure out how to stop the steal. "Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." -- Justice Janice Rogers Brown "The United States government is the largest criminal enterprise on earth." -rduckwor

We were going to have this massive "red wave" and take over Congress, but even two days after the election it's still too close to call. ------------------------------------------------ "It's hard to imagine a more stupid or dangerous way of making decisions, than by putting those decisions in the hands of people who pay no price for being wrong." Looking ahead. After his stunning victory in PA for the senate seat, MSNBC host suggests that maybe Fetterman should run for president. No! To get this thread back on track. And listen to the first 45 seconds. Fucking amazing what's happening in AZ. The red wave thing popped up over the last couple of weeks. The results were fairly in line with what was expected before the hype. Even better if we pull out Arizona. I don’t think Walker will win however. JC

The results of this election are 1000% because of the Supreme Court Roe v Wade decision. Don’t look into it any further than that. Women vote and they are pissed about that decision. Some exit poll data suggests that 70% of single women voted for Democrats...which is about 20% higher than in 2020. Single women are the problem and I'm sure the abortion issue didn't help us there, but I'm also sure it's not all abortion. They tanked us in 2020 as well. Seems single women are pretty much leftist in today's society.

Perhaps it is true... perhaps not. But if so, if the end result of this particular 'moment in history' is the GOP takes the House and Roe is dead, I'll put this solidly into the WIN category.

False, and without evidence. Fraud happens, of course, and always has; at the same predictably insignificant 0.00025% rate or whatever. This thinking is one of the reasons many R candidates are going back to day jobs rather than DC.

^^^I can do that too... 'Predictably Insignificant' is a pretty significant (as in dismissive) claim...I'm NOT buying it without evidence, so please enlighten us! ____________________________________________________________ If Some is Good, and More is Better.....then Too Much, is Just Enough !! As a fellow Kentuckian, and a resident of Jefferson County where he was County Judge-Executive under the old governmental system, I too think it’s beyond time for him to retire. In 2024 when his current term as Senator is up, he’ll be 82 years of age should he decide to run again. While he hasn’t gone all senile like Demento Joepedo, “It’s time for him to go”. Both political parties are calcifying. If you are eligible to draw Social Security, then you shouldn’t be in active political office. Yes, I know, Winston Churchill was 65 years old when he became Prime Minister, but the current crop of politicians that we have aren’t anywhere close to his abilities when he was at that age. --------------------- LGBFJB "Sometimes I wonder whether the world is being run by smart people who are putting us on, or by imbeciles who really mean it." — Mark Twain “Democracy is the theory that the common people know what they want, and deserve to get it good and hard.” — H. And your basis for that assertion would be...? Michigan Proposition 3, which codifies a "woman's right to choose" into Michigan's Constitution, passed by 57% to 43%. The left, and every Dem candidate, beat the "abortion" drum day and night, day in, day out. It was nearly the only thing they talked about in their political adverts. We know both women and men that voted Dem purely on that one issue. It did not seem to occur to them they could have voted in favor of Prop 3, and voted for Republicans, thus getting rid of the people wrecking the state and protecting "a woman's right to choose" at the same time. Proof again that voters, in general, aren't particularly deep thinkers. I can't speak to other states, but it seems pretty clear to me that in Michigan, at least, the SCOTUS decision ensured a Dem victory. Mind you: I'm not blaming SCOTUS. These results fall squarely on the shoulders of shallow, low-information voters. "America is at that awkward stage. It's too late to work within the system,,,, but too early to shoot the bastards." -- Claire Wolfe "If we let things terrify us, life will not be worth living." -- Seneca the Younger, Roman Stoic philosopher
