Oh, I don't know. It'll be fun to see exactly how and to what degree the Bernie Bros go nuts. Playing with millennials' expectations can be like playing with fire if said millennials have any fire in them to begin with.

Yes! Or who has the best early bird special, Denny's or Perkins.

Of course Joe will forget where he is mid-sentence.

Will they have to start having the debates between 3:30 and 5:30 in the afternoon now?

Nope. 5AM. Old people get cranky just before dinner time, and sleepy afterwards.

I think I would have preferred Sanders. It would have simply been a vote for Trump or socialism. I think even most dems would agree that it would be a clear choice.
With Biden, they have a safe choice.

I think Trump has a battle on his hands. The fact that Biden is already pandering to that Beto crowd. A female VP pick and he will be formidable. And now he has Bloombergs money behind him.

Well, Sanders hasn't bowed out yet. We'll see what kind of battle the Dems give Trump by the end of the primaries when their 'coalition' (because everything they do is done as a 'coalition') is battered, bitter, angry, frustrated and mistrustful of each other. Oh, yeah - and after they've blown millions on trying to take each other out.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

An individual with dementia who doesn't know where he is, what he is running for, or the difference between his wife and sister is a safe choice? Wow, that isn't the way I'd see it, but whatever...

The same one that was just about out. Lost 2 primaries. Out of money.
10 days later he is now the man. At some point Obama will have to endorse him. Hillary as well.

Hey, I think he is a buffoon as well, but Sanders would have been a easy win for Trump. Not so much with Biden.

Nah, I don't think so. Biden and Sanders are running for the opportunity to get their ass kicked by Trump in November. Doesn't matter which one survives the primary, when the Trump train descends on them, they're toast.

By the time Joe packs his camp and promises choice appointments for every special interest group and he spends Bloomies cash, he is going to appear very attractive to middle and lower class America. Note I did not say formidable, I said attractive.

Trump needs to stay on message about jobs, good economy, etc and not say anything stupid or insulting.

Watch Middle American support for Joe erode away under the steady drip-drip-drip of mis-statement after creepy act after blindly adopted policy. Not one of them will be enough to knock him out of the race, but he'll desperately need Election Day to happen before the erosion catches up and there are too many people that he just can't get to go out and vote.

There better be plenty of non-pressitutes covering the doddering swamp dweller or that exposure will not happen.

I really don't think that will be the case. Biden was showing his senility four years ago without the rigors of a campaign. His advanced senility(dementia? Alzheimer's?) is showing up now in a prominent way, even before he really gets into the heat of a national campaign. He is going to look awful by September/October if he is the nominee.

Joe cannot keep up with the President on the campaign trail and he won't be able to keep up on the debate stage. If he is going to be the nominee, it is going to get ugly.

People don't want a President with one foot in the nursing home and the other on a banana peel. Moderates are not going to vote for senile Joe. And Bernie's hardcore base will either not show up at the polls, or they will pull the lever for the Green Party candidate(or similar).

I don't think it matters whether it is Bolshevik Bernie or Senile Joe, the President is going to have a massive win.
