Best line I have heard about Biden - "Joe Biden has worked his whole life for this moment. Too bad he isn't here to enjoy it."

an interesting article that walks thru a scenario that explains the wild 72 hrs where Biden stomped Sanders (w a little help from his friends) https://www.breitbart.com/2020...ie-gave-it-to-biden/ In the time of span of 72 hours, between the South Carolina primary and Super Tuesday, establishment Democrats rushed to consolidate behind former Vice President Joe Biden in a transparent effort to thwart the candidacy of Sen. Bernie Sanders ...

^^^ Yes, yes, let the Biden butthurt flooow through the Bernie Bros. Let them be enraaaged. Seriously, though, I hadn't heard that Dankie'd weighed in with an endorsement. And it's a bit stunning to hear that Obama more or less godfathered Buttigieg's dropping out of the race and endorsing Biden given that everyone's been wondering why Obama hasn't endorsed anyone and particularly Biden. Everyone seems stunned by how quickly the Dem Establishment seems to have come together and acted, but (if Breitbart's right) this was too broad a move to be anything that happened "suddenly". With this many people involved, a lot of discussions had to have happened and a lot of decisions had to have been made. The conversations and work to make all of that happen almost have to have been going on for some time for all of that to happen. I don't know that it happened, of course, but it almost feels like the Dem Establishment was just waiting for Biden to prove he was a viable candidate to the voters by doing well in South Carolina.

That's because Biden's "win" was a foregone conclusion. The DNC, by hook, crook, crime or dirty deed is not letting Bernie be the nominee. Not after his candidacy in 2016 had enough of an effect to keep Mrs. Chelsea Clinton's daughter's grandfather's son-in-law's mother-in-law out of the White House. I'm asking every Bernie supporter how they feel about the DNC betrayal version 2.0. I urge them to push Bernie at the convention, and unless he gets the nomination, to implore him to run as an independent. If he doesn't get in the race, then they should protest by not voting for Biden. Nice is overrated "It's every freedom-loving individual's duty to lie to the government." Bernie desperately needs a win in Michigan, because it looks like the rest of the March 10th states are going with Biden. "Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." -- Justice Janice Rogers Brown "The United States government is the largest criminal enterprise on earth." -rduckwor

Gretchen does nothing to help Biden in northern Michigan. Just judging by her short record she is probably a negative state wide. Jim

Rachel MadCow is just beside herself... "I'd like to ask you about the elephant in the room, which is a conversation you've had a number of ways and you talked about it eloquently today... I think that a lot of women around the country right now feel differently about you dropping out," Maddow began. "You leaving the race feels different. If Hillary Clinton can't win when she gets the nomination and you can't get the nomination and neither can Kamala Harris, and neither can Amy Klobuchar, and neither can Kirsten Gillibrand. I mean, I think part of what's going on today is women around the country are like, 'OK, honestly!' If it's not going to be any of them, let's get real. Is it just that it can't be any woman ever?' Are we just going to run, you know, white men in their late 70s against each other, both parties and that's all we can agree to do?" "I think there's a feeling that your campaign ending is very specific to you and it also feels a little bit like a death knell in terms of the prospects of having a woman president in our lifetimes." These same people savaged Tusli Gabbard -- and they don't blame that on "misogyny." For God's sake, Rachel Maddow attacked National Guard Major Tulsi Gabbard as a RUSSIAN AGENT. "Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. I hope the Democrats keep running women who cannot win and keep blaming their not winning on misogyny. If they refuse to understand and acknowledge the true reasons, they’re unlikely to change what they’re doing, and less likely to ever win. Keep it up, folks. ► 6.4/93.6 ___________ “We are Americans …. Together we have resisted the trap of appeasement, cynicism, and isolation that gives temptation to tyrants.” — George H. W. Bush
