Bernie must be getting lonely

I don't think those endorsements are going to pull Biden over the finish line

RCP betting odds are tightening up

Sanders 53%
Biden 36% (rising rapidly)
Bloomberg 13% (falling rapidly)
The names highlighted above will mean absolutely nothing to anyone under 30 years old. These endorsements aren't near enough for Biden to win.

I still think Biden would have a real chance in the primary if Mini-Mike bailed and turned his millions to Biden ads and support.

Chris Matthews to Leave MSNBC Amid Controversy, Sanders Remarks

MSNBC “Hardball” host Chris Matthews announced on-air Monday that he was stepping down, days after being accused of making unwanted overtures to a guest and comparing Bernie Sanders’s victory in the Nevada caucuses to the World War II Nazi takeover of France.

Cable channel’s decision to release 74-year-old anchor from contract was mutual, according to source
Translation...MSLSD hosts can say and do whatever they like so long as the recipient of their attention is a Republican/Conservative. However, a couple indignant comments about a liberal (or socialist) and you're outta there.

Clearly, this has been Bloomberg's plan the entire time.

Even if he comes in dead last in every state on Super Tuesday, or I guess he'll need at least a few delegates, but either way, he's not going anywhere before the convention.

That might be his plan, but I thinks its monumentally stupid on his part to discuss it on national TV. If he somehow wins the nomination through that approach, the Bernie Bro's will be out in force for his hide.

They ought to be careful. History is full of examples of what happens to those who dont back the winning horse in a socialist society

Yeah, he was there talking about it like he believes everyone will see it as a completely fair and reasonable process if he should get the nomination that way. He truly doesn't see a problem with it. Reality is going to hit him square in the face if he manages to steal the nomination through "horse trading."

Now we know this guy has absolutely no clue. With the endorsers that have lined up behind Biden it's clear that a lot of Dems have already decided that this boils down to the Establishment candidate - Biden - versus the insurgents' candidate - Sanders. A brokered convention was always going to spark a war within the Dem Party and it looks now as though the establishment/insurgent tension could well be driven through the roof before the convention. No matter what, the Dems absolutely cannot afford a brokered and negotiated convention without doing serious long-term damage to the party itself. No one's gonna do that just so that Bloomberg can be the nominee.

Sanders from 1981

https://www.nytimes.com/1981/0...-the-united-way.html

For the kickoff of the 40th annual Chittenden County United Way fund-raising drive in Burlington, Vt., the sponsors considered themselves fortunate to have as guests Mayor Bernard Sanders of Burlington and Gov. Richard Snelling of Vermont.

But the charity workers heard the sort of things they wanted to hear from only one of their guests.

Sanders:

''I don't believe in charities,''

The Mayor, who is a Socialist, went on to question the ''fundamental concepts on which charities are based'' and contended that government, rather than charity organizations, should take over responsibility for social programs.

Just another campaign ad for the Trump machine. Bernie's provided 40 years of material for GOP attack ads.

The funny thing is that Bernie isn't any farther left than the rest of the field, but with the possible exception of Warren, Bernie is the only one bold enough to say what he really believes. The rest want to be Obama: talk moderate Left while trying shove as much far Left as possible down our throats.

Oh the Bernie screw job is on. Look at all the Biden endorsements. Watch how many (Pete, Amy, Beto, etc.) get promised jobs in exchange.

Like O'Rourke to be the gun control guy?
You know, that gun problem.

The violence problem that has killed 150 million Americans.

That one.
