You're a little out of touch. THEY don't carry a gun. THEY think guns are evil, vile things that THEY would never touch. Much like a shovel, hammer, plunger. THEY hire out. In the last few days, former CAG / DevGru / MARSOC types are getting phone calls like it was cool. "Hey, what are you doing for the next few months? Ya want a job?" (BT/DT- BCBS about 20, 25 years ago. Guy found the person he believed responsible for denying his wife's claim. Death of a wife or a child will piss a person off. The side-gig paid well, and let's just say- "Important" details were left out when telling us about the job.) ______________________________________________________________________ "When its time to shoot, shoot. Dont talk!" “What the government is good at is collecting taxes, taking away your freedoms and killing people. It’s not good at much else.” —Author Tom Clancy

Prepared for the Worst, Providing the Best |
I've been a UHC customer for most of the last 20 years at three different employers. Yes, they suck, and I have ample reason to dislike the company, but that in no way justifies what happened here. They're going to catch this guy and convict him of murder, and I'll be glad when they do.

Ignored facts still exist |
For several reasons, my guess is the guy will be room temperature within 30 days, if he's not already.

When I was a baby, my father worked for a large package delivery company. He blew his back one day while making a delivery. He had multiple surgeries to help him walk again, and only had one left to do but the insurance company said they were done paying out. And this was a worker's comp claim. The doctor said my father would be basically crippled if he didn't get the last surgery. The insurance company wouldn't back down so my mother in a state of panic called Teamsters to see if there was anything they could do. They told her to call the insurance company back and tell them that Teamsters would pay for the surgery. When she called them back, they panicked and agreed to pay for the surgery on the spot. I hate Teamsters deeply for how they treated my family in later years, but my father is walking around and still working today nearly 40 years later with no issues. If it were up to the insurance company, he probably would be on disability.

I’m in complete disbelief at how many members of this forum are cheering that this guy was murdered. I’m really at a loss for words. I dint know what to say that hasn’t been said already, mostly by sigfreund. Seems to be we have more and more members like Fender Bender here. (For those that don’t know what I’m talking about, read the “lol thread” linked in my signature.) It makes me wonder; the forum members who think the murder of Brian Thompson was acceptable, what are their thoughts on the attempted assassination of Donald Trump? Was that “acceptable” because his opponents dislike him? The “lol” thread

Morality of his companies actions aside, they collected payment and were significantly outstanding at refusing service. Cheating people at such a scale isn’t a good plan for a long life.

There's a big difference between cheering or condoning and not losing moment's sleep over it.

delicately calloused |
Maybe, but certainly is a barometer on the culture of a society. Indifference in the face of immoral activity is still destructive. Now we’ll prepare for a discussion of the intersectionality of immoral behavior. In 3, 2, 1…… You’re a lying dog-faced pony soldier

I swear I had something for this |
Then to counteract that from happening is to fix the system that perpetuates this feeling, and a good start is a flush of anyone in the prosecution of cases like Daniel Penny and onward.

All are statements in support over the murder; just stated in different ways. Sad at some of the public’s views on this and there is a whole line of products in support of his murder HERE My mom is dying of cancer and I have been pissed of how I have seen her treated by doctors and insurance. Insurance will not cover her very expensive cancer medication. I had to listen to my mom screaming bloody murder as they inserted a catheter into her chest cavity with zero anesthesia just as one example. None of that will make me go kill someone. Insurance won’t pay for any anesthesia when I get a series of six needles stuck into my spinal cord for back pain, and no I am not going to kill somebody. Yes, the health industry and pharmaceutical companies are greedy bastards and something needs to be done, but it is NOT murder. NRA Benefactor Life Member

No, they are not. Not caring is not the same as condoning.

Yup. Someone unknown to me was murdered. I shrugged and moved on. That ain't stating a different way that I supported/condoned the murder. No even close. Q

Amazing that someone will virtue signal over an industrial-level fraudster getting it in the end.

How about some names of these virtue signalers? Don't beat around the bush. Q

No it isn't the same. How many tears have you shed? What clothes have you torn because you were so distraught? Do any sackcloth? Yeah, I thought so. Hypberbole right back at you.

You agreed with bigwagon. I agreed with you. So, we are in agreement. I don't know what the fuck the rest of your statement is about. Q

My apologies 12131, I completely misread what you wrote and took it to mean the opposite of what you said. JAllen taught me to not type while angry, but I still have work to do in that regard.
