Luigi Mangione

quote:
Tisch identified the person of interest as Luigi Mangione. The commissioner said he had a three-page manifesto on his person that speaks to his possible alleged "motivation and mindset" in the killing.

"We don't think there is any specific threats to other people mentioned in that document, but it does seem that he has some ill will towards corporate American," Chief of Detectives Joe Kenny said.

Seems then, if what was said about his writings, he wasn't doing this based on UHC's claims process from a personal standpoint, but based on an inherent dislike of capitalistic companies in general, UHC's CEO was just a high profile target for him.

Likely he kept the gun for the next CEO target to kill, whomever crossed his idealism line in the sand.

Basically a crazy communist nut acting out against the system...

I'm sure they will find this Mangione guy's posts all over Reddit, ranting and raving in some of the most hardcore anti-capitalist, Antifa and Communist subs that exist.

Well, no matter what lofty ideals he may have written down in his "manifesto", it would appear that Luigi (if he is the shooter) is just another ordinary.... Nut!

Ohhhh, an "untraceable ghost gun" with a scary suppressor, per the story I read.

Of course the lefties will howl about gun control, and forget that it took just three days to catch this guy even though he used an untraceable, silenced gun.

I think a homemade silencer is possibility. It doesn't work flawlessly as a result. Hell, the whole thing could have been 3D printed. Being in NY state makes improvised weapon aspects more likely, IMO.
Page three. I'll take this apparent small victory.

FWIW, he's on linked in. Well educated and was a summer camp counselor, where he was an AI teacher for high school kids

Yeah… not as smart as he thinks he is…
quote:
Gilman Valedictorian Luigi Mangione

Beware the smart ones...
They think they can get away with it because they are smarter than everyone else.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

I’ll bet the University of Pennsylvania has a state of the art 3D printing lab.

Ha. I looked it up and forget 3D printing, they have a whole CNC fabrication lab.

If he was anti capitalism/corporation et al, not just UHC, then he probably kept it to use again....
