Back, and to the left |
No matter which side you come down on, the point of this post is to make people aware that to stoke this old ass issue in the next 10-11 months is to throw a bone to the GDC's. Lets drive a stake into their hearts now, while we have the momentum. Then we can get back to arguing that issue for another 5 decades.

Now, when leftists are being especially insane, it’s not the time to approach their most fervent religious belief. I say lets lets them keep showing their asses and not do them any favors. JC

Agree and also add, it's not like the Left follows existing abortion laws anyway. For example, there is a ban on selling aborted fetal tissue (42 U.S. Code 289g-2) - PP gets caught redhanded with a whole racketeering enterprise and nothing happens. Well that's only a half-truth as then CA Attorney General Camel Hair actually prosecuted the journalist who exposed it instead of prosecuting PP. Oh stewardess, I speak jive. |
I've voted Republican my entire life and I will help the Left (politically) crush the pro life movement myself, if it comes to that and this kooky b.s. is successful. I know lots of folks moving to Texas to help flip it, and none of them vote GOP, and that's just one vector of political vulnerability that the GOP faces nationwide. This is a religious political legal figurative-coup, overtruning Roe, and it will have major consequences, politically speaking. You're driving the middle away with this religious fundamentalist insanity. It's incredibly short sighted and may be the straw that breaks the proverbial camel's back. Without the middle, the Right may never win another Presidency. You kooky fucks with backwards priorities may destroy the whole thing with your selfish attempts to enforce your beliefs on others under the guise of this b.s. Fuck you all, when it comes to this topic. You really don't want people like me helping the Left in any way whatsoever. You very much need my vote and support. The (legal, non violent, etc) consequences for overturning Roe will be dire, I bet. You dickheads are playing dangerous political games, and it will be costly, I think. Fucking loathsome meddlesome assholes, those who pursue this topic, you appallingly simple minded motherfuckers, seriously, fuck... you... all..., regarding this topic. Stow your responses, you've earned this shit. Have a lovely day.

You're absolutely terrified this issue will be returned to the people and the state legislatures to make their choice. You can't have that. (See my post on Page 1.) So you toss out the type of language you used to intimidate like a rabid dog. Good luck with your approach. If it isn’t specified in the Constitution as a federal power it is up to the states to decide. Seems pretty simple. You fucktard can go live in any state you want that sponsors infanticide. Unfortunately for you those people don’t like you or your beliefs very well so enjoy no gun rights as you thumb your nose at us you self righteous prick. Oh yea, another thing, thinking abortion is wrong has nothing to do with religion for many people. I think murder and robbery are wrong too. Not because the Bible says so either. It’s a straw man to keep bringing up religion in this discussion. Funny thing is that many pro lifers don’t actually go to church much if at all. Go figure. Non church goers can have ethical and moral opinions. Who knew?

McAullif tried to use this card during the VA elections. It fell flat. Parents are more worried about CRT and the quality of education than they are about abortion. Richard Baris has been one of the most accurate pollsters in the past five years. We hate polls but I use him, Rasmussen, and Trafalgar to gage sentiment as they have been the most on point. For someone so passionate about abortion, it's plainly obvious that you have not taken a single second to even try to understand the other side of this issue or those who oppose the killing of a baby in the womb. And your rage has blinded you. You think the middle is on your side? The middle as you call it has been moving farther and farther away from the pro-abortion movement, which in the last decade has slingshotted to the extreme. Your side has overplayed its hand. You only have yourself to blame. As Mike said, killing babies is wrong, and we've killed over 60 million of them since 1973. You want to keep making this issue about the mother. But we know better. The issue is the baby, and more and more people are waking up to that fact. In 100 years, people will look back on abortion the same way we look back on slavery today. ~Alan Acta Non Verba NRA Life Member (Patron) God, Family, Guns, Country Men will fight and die to protect women... because women protect everything else. ~Andrew Klavan

As others have stated, if the state is successful, the only thing that will happen is every state can pass their own laws (with few limits) regulating abortion. So for a big segment of the population, this will have no affect whatsoever. Of course, there are many who may be affected as well. I am on the pro-life side of this issue, although I am not an absolutist. I could never deny a rape victim an abortion, and I don't see how anyone could. However,I would like to point out that if the pro-choice people are serious, there's a way around this if the decision doesn't go their way. California has one of the most liberal abortion laws in the country. California does not have any residency requirements to receive an abortion. This means that if your home state creates barriers that prevent you from having an abortion, or if there are other reasons you prefer to have an abortion in California, you can travel to California to access an abortion. So, all of the pro-choice wealthy lefties in Hollywood, the tech billionaires, and others can start a nationwide charity to pay for low income women to travel to California to get abortions. If they were serious about the issue, they could do this. But they won't.

No matter how loud you yell, you get one vote just like everyone else. I’m actually curious, if you care to formulate a cogent argument, why the idea of allowing the people to decide how abortion should be regulated, rather than nine unelected lawyers, terrifies you so.

This is completely typical of 46and2. This behavior goes well back. He loves to spout off, get his digs in, roll his little grenade into the room and just disappear, or just pretend to disappear. It escapes his little narrowminded perspective that it's possible that this has nothing to do with religion—that an atheist can distinguish between right and wrong and come to the conclusion that abortion is wrong. Meddlesome? Right, leftist. That's the real motivation of taking the stance we have—that we don't care about the life of the unborn at all—we really think that we hit the jackpot with this angle to take a women's rights away. You're an idiot. Year V

I am curious how a baby traumatized him so badly for him to go off like this. To see this passion for ending the life of a baby is disgusting. It is cowardice to not defend innocent lives. Too bad we won’t have the Pro-Murder “republicans” on our side… "I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them." Anyone who claims that opposing the murder of babies is “religious fundamentalist insanity” and that not wanting to kill babies is a position held by a “kooky fuck” and that the ones that want to let babies live are the selfish ones (as opposed to the ones choosing to kill babies for “lifestyle reasons” is truly the most vile form of human. That’s you, sir. Truly vile and evil.
