Just watched that clip.

What an American thing to say. And an American way to act. A class act.

Thank you Mr. President.

And he saluted the man before boarding... I love this man...

They really have no one to blame but her.

This makes Roberts the third most liberal justice on the court.

Over on Democratic Underground, they're ready to commit mass suicide.

The only thing missing is Jim Jones passing out the paper cups full of Grape Kool-Aid.

How so? If the court is at 4-4 post election and the Dem's challenge the results, how does a final decision on the election results get made? I'd suggest that not one of the liberal justices would consider voting to confirm DJT's second term, so that leaves us deadlocked at 4-4 (assuming Roberts didn't stab us in the back again).

I was just getting ready to fire up the Blackstone earlier, to make smashburgers for National Cheeseburger Day when I read this! It turned into a celebratory meal!

In response to the video that parabellum posted:

A very professional, and classy response.
Short and to the point.

Down to the brass tacks. The new congress is sworn in on the first of the year. That give us 90 plus days to confirm a new justice.

All liberty calls are revoked; Weekend passes are null and void; no new leave will be approved; It's all hands on deck right now.

Lets get this done.

What a fantastic response from the President. Seriously, caught off guard, and comes out with a respectful reply. Truly a gentleman.

Now can we get a decent replacement before November?

Get it done.

Apparently being reported by one news group, Ginsburg's daughter is putting out there that Ruthie's dying wish was not be be replaced by the current president. I'm sure the Dem's are going use that quote for all its worth. From my perspective, Karma's a bitch, isn't it. Smile
