I think it is clear that their was a clear attempt to not hurt or injure anyone.

My guess is that that shots fired were broadcast from the speaker and not actual gun shots.

The gun shots were to draw a Police response to enable time to clear people from the area.
They did not want the initial response to be from a bomb squad.

Subsequent broadcast to evacuate area was to provide police direction after arriving on scene.

Seems fairly clear the target was the AT&T building, not particularly the building, but what was in the building.

There's claims, yes actual claims on the 'net today, that if you play it backwards it says, "Merry Christmas".

Something I read on the net this morning and can't vouch for anything, it read that the ATT communications disruption could have an affect in Georgia somehow....as in election interference. Makes as much sense as anything.

An AT&T outage caused by a Christmas Day explosion in Nashville continued on Saturday to affect 911 operations and other services.

The company was pursuing multiple strategies to restore service, according to a Saturday morning news release.

Multiple local, state and federal law enforcement agencies continue to investigate the explosion that injured three, destroyed buildings and homes, and damaged at least 41 businesses.

The outages were reported several hours after the explosion. AT&T indicated in a Friday statement that their facility had been damaged and access to power was an issue.

By Saturday morning, two portable cell sites were operating in downtown Nashville and others were being deployed in the region.

Teams at the damaged facility faced challenges to restoring power to the equipment there. The building was evacuated overnight after a fire reignited, according to an AT&T news release.

By Saturday morning, the teams had drilled holes into the building and were attempting to reconnect power to critical equipment. Safety and structural engineers were on site.

Teams were also rerouting services to other facilities in the region.

"We continue to be grateful for the work of first responders as they respond to this event and help protect our team working to restore service for our customers," the statement read.

The company said in a public statement around 5 p.m. Friday that they were bringing national disaster recovery teams to the Nashville area along with regional resources to work to restore service.

The outage also caused flights out of Nashville International Airport to be halted on Friday but most flights appeared to be on time Saturday morning.

Widespread police departments reported the outage was disrupting 911 operations in their jurisdictions. Most took to social media to share landlines and alternate access numbers where residents could seek emergency assistance.

Rutherford County locations reported 911 coming back online but said issues remained with getting the names and locations of callers.

Police came across a suspicious RV parked outside a nearby AT&T building near Second Avenue and Commerce Street before 6 a.m. when responding to calls of shots fired in the area, according to Metro police spokesperson Don Aaron.

There was no evidence of any shooting, but officers and witnesses heard a broadcast coming from the RV giving a dire warning: “Evacuate now. There is a bomb. A bomb is in this vehicle and will explode."

Then, the voice started a 15-minute countdown.

Metro Police Chief John Drake said the six officers at the scene quickly began to evacuate the area, going door-to-door. They redirected a man walking his dog along the street.

The RV exploded at 6:30 a.m. as the bomb squad was en route. The force of the explosion knocked an officer to the ground and gave another officer what police hope is temporary hearing loss. Three people were hospitalized with injuries.

Police said it is unclear if anyone was inside the RV when it exploded. The "tissue" found near the site had to be examined to confirm if human. There were no reports of fatalities as of Friday afternoon.

Cooper issued a state of civil emergency at the explosion site and the surrounding area, and a curfew that started 4:30 p.m. Friday and went until 4:30 p.m. Sunday.

The areas affected are bounded by James Robertson Parkway, Fourth Avenue North, Broadway and the Cumberland River.

Considering that election is still 10 days away, any comm disruption will have been resolved well before then.

Well, I guess this may have been the man casually walking his dog in the video.

Some Interesting Questions Raised About the Viral Video of the Nashville Bombing

Ford Fischer who has done a lot of coverage of Antifa and Black Lives Matter may have come across something interesting when it comes to the bombing in Nashville this morning.

One of the most unusual things about the Nashville bombing was that there were reportedly gun shots before hand and then a recording in the RV which warned people to evacuate out of the area before the RV blew up.

But then on top of that, Fischer noticed something else odd. Many in media have been sharing a viral video of the explosion area, taken from across the street, with a warning to evacuate and then the explosion.

Fischer noticed some interesting things about the account that posted the video.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

Still this morning in the next county over we have a lot of credit card systems down. Even the Wal-Mart is only taking cash. Still a lot of folks with AT&T device out, no cell phones or internet.

My neighbor who has their whole house controlled through their phone can't do shit. Even their thermostat is controlled by the net.

Apparently that building has a lot more importance then just a simple telecom station.

Can anyone explain the Google Earth image blocking?
I have seen speculation of NSA assets being located in the AT&T building.
This makes me wonder if there is some truth to the speculation.

All photos and videos on-line seem to avoid showing the RV or front of AT&T building at the location of the explosion. RV they are looking for is shown as arriving not where parked.

I have no doubt that the government, at least deep state, know what the true target was.
As always we the people are kept in the dark.
Seems the heart of all our problems is government secrecy.

And people wonder why I look at "smart" things askance?

Sure, we have some "smart" things and some home automation. But the only thing for which an Internet connection is needed, for any of them, is firmware updates and access to them from outside the home.

Even though we have a backup Internet connection to which our router will automatically fail over if our primary connection goes down, I would still never have any of our home's functionality held hostage to a functioning Internet connection.

I'm not certain why anybody would think an AT&T facility would be a "simple TeleCom station." AT&T has been a major supplier of long-haul telecommunications and Internet backbone bandwidth since about forever.

I read some similar speculation that included a link to this long article about the NSA's hidden spy hubs --

Here is another baffling aspect.
It does not appear to me that the RV with trees on it was where the explosive emanated from.
A bomb in the RV would seem to make the most sense, however that is not what I see in this photo.

The source of the explosion was across the street from the RV and AT&T building.
The trees fell toward the RV and AT&T building, not away from.

Full size photo.

On second look the trees on both sides of the road fell toward the middle of the road.
The tree on the (what I suspect to be the RV) fell over the RV from the right side of the road.
Were there two bombs or was this an underground explosion?

The FBI's involvement precludes any chance at the truth coming out.

Blast/shock wave does some "funny" stuff.

There pulse, overpressure, vacuum, rebound and add in the "valley" to reflect and "exhaust" both directness of the street and upwards.

Well, there's math involved.
