I view this as a matter of confidence level.

The 5G Paranoia moves me toward the skeptical side.
Tough for me to imagine someone going to all this work to blow themselves up because of 5G.
Easier for me to believe someone went to all this work to blow themselves up over employment grudge.

How the needle moves.

Deep State vs. Kook
Skepticism vs. Confidence

Examples I can think of which could move the needle:

5G Paranoia vs. AT&T Employee with grudge
Election Related Equip destroyed vs. Nothing Election Related affected
No manifesto or evidence of kook vs. Manifesto or other evidence pointing to his kookiness
Not giving away his house for $0.00 vs. Giving his house away for $0.00
Unexplained smoke stream prior to explosion vs. Explained smoke stream prior to explosion
Non-altered video showing explosion on other side of street vs. Video altered with offset
NSA located in AT&T building vs. Just and AT&T building
FBI making announcement vs. President Trump making announcement

Currently I think there is more leading me to believe kook.

It’s from Channel 5 News.
At 7:09 the camera stops at this location.
Starting at the 6:50 mark, I see a tunnel running under the sidewalk. To me it looks like the explosion originated in the tunnel because it's blown out instead of being full of rubble.

Am I interpreting this correct?
It's very possible, if not likely, that's a cable vault.

This has been proven many times in the past. The DC snipers were a good example of that. So are some of these BLM and Antifa style riots. It only takes a few using guerilla tactics to cause major disruptions. Imagine multiplying that by tens, hundreds, or even thousands.

I pointed that out earlier in the thread. To cause the damage that was caused, there had to be something damaged below street level. All of the utilities on that street were buried. Was the RV parked on top of it with a blast aimed downward? Was there some sort of device outside of the RV?

I'm not an explosive expert but I do have some training. A blast wave propagates in a sphere, equally in all directions. As much of that blast force went down as up and out. I'd guess that those side walk slabs ate probably designed to be removed for maintenance on those buried lines.

As I stated in an earlier post, the reflection and absorption of that blast wave in that confined are had to be crazy, and insanely fast.

That may very well be the case. I don't know about them being removable, but we do a fair amount of crane work in down town St. Louis. Sidewalks are off limits for the outriggers as most of them are covering utility vaults. Good for walking on, but not structural for any real weight.

Still speculation or confirmed?

From the article linked above: “Human remains have been found at the scene of the explosion in downtown Nashville, multiple law enforcement sources told ABC News.”

Of course, the FBI could hold a news conference announcing that the remains had been linked by DNA analysis to the registered owner of the RV that blew up, and some people would still claim to believe that it wasn’t just speculation but part of a deliberate cover-up conspiracy.

But are they really HUMAN remains??? Eek

I've reviewed a lot of Baker Risk studies for blasts at oil & gas facilities, but have zero experience with explosives. To me, if the blast were above a tunnel/vault/tray, the overpressure wave would collapse the concrete cap/lid downward instead of upward.

However, it's also possible that a bomb damaged a natural gas utility and then the blown outward tunnel/vault/tray is a actually a secondary explosion from natural gas building up then igniting.

Having been in law enforcement for many years, I wish the police would just shut the hell up and do their investigation.

This "person of interest" crap needs to come to an end. It has ruined peoples lives.

Had a deputy that worked for me that got diarrhea of the mouth every time he got close to a reporter. Finally cost him his job when he comprimised a case.

No kidding. Att service is still out. Are we lacking redundancy in the system. What is going on?

Without knowing exactly what role that facility played it's hard to say. (There are network management groups to which I used to belong where they're probably discussing it. I no longer qualify for participation in them.) Near as I can tell: The area affected by this is only the greater Nashville region? So I'm guessing this is the Internet equivalent to a telephone branch exchange office?

For "local" service transport and provisioning (I put "local" in quotes because it's a somewhat nebulous concept), there's only so much redundancy that can reasonably be built in. Easiest to put in terms of power distribution. Lightning takes out something on the grid. Your power goes out for a few moments, then comes back. What happened is the system recognized the outage and routed around it. But if it's the pole out front or back of your house, or the one down the street: You're SOL. Same kind of thing. Also if it's a substation that's responsible for doing the rerouting.

“Authorities said they believed the blast was intentional.”

There was a loud recording coming from the RV warning people away and giving a countdown to the explosion.

Yeah, perhaps it was

Oh Great!

Another vehicle in Tennesse with a loudspeaker broadcasting that it has a bomb and people need to move away.

Police on scene now with an EOD robot.

Driver has been detained.
Truck had a similar announcement to that which was heard on Christmas Day.

Thank you. I am familiar with what happens after Cat 3 hurricanes and realize this is different. A friend who worked for Bell South around the time of Katrina said that they built more redundancy into the sytem.

Areas of Chattanooga and Kentucy are affected as well.

Sounds like this might not be a device. Driver is in custody.

Reports were that the vehicle was at a convenience store playing a message similar to the one in Nashville. Police stopped it and took the driver into custody.

It appears to be someone tired of 2020 and just felt like spending 2021 behind bars.
The fool didn’t think this through.
They will likely release him due to COVID concerns.

There is no escaping the insanity of 2020.

So some witnesses of the sort who never get anything wrong either by mistake or design have reported to the police.
