They weren't even violating any of his tyrannical orders at the time as it was about 5am, and they were essentially sleeping in the gym when dozens of police with dogs came in and hauled them away. AFAIK, neither NY or NJ have any provision for recalling any elected officials. Once they're in, they do their term. Unless they're impeached, which I'm pretty shure would by a legislative action, there's no way to get rid of them. Also, in the crowded northeast, while there is some dissent, the various infection control policies have pretty broad support. I heard that in NY, Cuomo is seeing a 80% approval rating on his handling of the pandemic. So assuming there's any broad support for defying these policies would be a mistake.

The State Board of Canvassers has approved two of our five petitions submitted for approval! We will select one to run with. We fully expect Whitmer to appeal this decision. She has 10 days to do so. The Court of Appeals has 40 days from the date of the appeal to hear that case. This is a good thing, as it gives us more time to organize. Stay the course, friends!
