They tried, but she's claiming she has unlimited power under The Emergency Powers of the Governor Act of 1945. The legislature can't change it because she will just veto the change. I updated my number of 35 to 20 as the deaths on the State updated report says. But I will add that 51 patients confirmed and 47 staff positives in the same facility.

There is a petition drive ongoing to repeal the act that Governor Whitmer is using to extend her power and exclude the Congress from her decisions. There we daily petition drives state wide.

Evil has reared its head. A few weeks ago messages went out to UAW members to not sign and report any members circulating a petition. Further more if a member sees someone circulating a petition they should try and get the organizer's name and any information they can including license plate number, and call a phone number provided with a Lansing area code to report them. Members are also instructed to watch these people and if they know that they're doing petition drives in the area call a number to report where those drives are.

Today, messages began circulating on social media calling the petition drive lies and a plot. It encourages people to sign fake names, use a marker to scribble or cross out other names, or to grab the clip board or petitions and run away.

This is pure organized evil and clearly driven by the left. "Protect our great Governor!"

I tried to sign the petition at the locations listed on the Unlock Michigan website. I went both locations listed for Marquette County last weekend.
Not a soul around. No petition either.

KY governor now “making recommendations” to keep schools closed. He doesn’t have the balls to order it and own it. But he “recommends” it and the has the Education Commissioner and KEA go in and threaten any district who refuses to comply.

Contact them direct. I connected with a local person that I met and signed.

OR Governor recommending only distance learning.

Has made mandate to lock down Morrow (my county), Umatilla, and another county in eastern Oregon.

The reason she states is the increase in positive tests.... No shit lady your prison in Umatilla has 180 cases, so they are contained, but you punish the rest of the county based on this?
