5.56 makes some pretty ugly wounds, especially up close. Some years back, I saw a video of a shooting in, I believe Brazil, where a policeman put a round through some guy's thigh with an M16A1 at about handshake distance. The wound was even grizzlier than that, looked like a burst watermelon at a Gallagher show. Highly doubt it was any kind of special ammo, probably just cheap bulk stuff.

These BLM AntiFa whatever fools need to be stopped with resounding force, a few hundred National Guard troops given permission to take the gloves off and this is over forthwith.

Once his name is released, he’ll need full time security at his house, as BLM will show up to burn it down.

With two dead, he’s likely to face charges (not sure of self-defense laws in Kenosha, or how local DA will react) - so he’ll need defense funds. If not charges from DA, I’d imagine there is a line of vultures there to press civil suits.

SEATTLE — Seattle Police said demonstrations are turning into direct attacks on police.

One spokesperson called it 'attempted murder' when rioters tried to barricade officers into the East Precinct Monday night before setting fires.

New SPD surveillance video from the East Precinct shows rioters setting fires around the precinct, after trying to cementing the door shut, while officers are inside.

Police said it’s an example of rioters are taking protests to a dangerous level—targeting police.

“That’s not a protest, that’s not a demonstration that’s a directed attack against the police,” said Sgt. Randy Huserik with the Seattle Police Department. “Last night was, was clearly a coordinated attack against three Seattle Police facilities.”

Last night, SPD said rioters used quick setting concrete trying to seal the doors at the East Precinct, but it didn't work and officers were able to get out.

“They mixed up the ‘quick-crete’ and then tried to seal off the exits,” said Sgt. Huserik. “I don’t think there’s a lot of leaps that have to be made about what they’re intent was last night.”

Last night was a start. It won't be enough to finish it but it is a start. And yes, it will come down to private citizens defending their lives and property.

The problem here is that greenshirt guy and many other folks are putting a line in the sand by coming out to defend <something> without clear lines of defense and zero exit strategy if they get overrun - which is likely in all cases.

My takeaway from this is that *if* you need to defend something - a business or a home - you best not be doing it by yourself. Unless you have a defensible position with support, you're basically just a FOP. You might put a few rounds down range but when that does not deter them, you need to bolt for the defensive line. If you don't have one, then it's time to split.

1 or 2 guys with an AR are not going to deter these rioters. if you have a dozen guys on the roof(s) behind you, then yea, you might just save your business.

If I was going to defend a business or a home from a large crowd it would definitely be from the roof. Seems like some people did just that. We've gone from rooftop Koreans to rooftop Kenoshans.

Talk about doing nothing, do you know what the Rules of Engagement are for our Guardsmen in Kenosha - protect "infrastructure" (so burn the car dealerships, stores, government buildings, etc.) and they can only shoot back if someone is hit with a bullet by rioters! Our governor is the biggest pussy I've ever seen as a governor of this state. I know damn well Scott Walker would not have put up with this shit. I hope there is a red wave from disgusted Wisconsin voters this fall who see what Democrat rioters are doing to this state.
