Curious about what foregrips others are using on their MPX.

I like the aluminum-looking ones in all the Sig stock photos... but they seem to be vaporware.

Thanks in advance!

For those waiting on Stocks for SBRs or Sig Arm Braces......

KAK MPX Stock Adapter

Great piece of gear that allows anyone to mount a common buffer tube and stock. KEEP IN MIND..... Doing so will make the weapon a Short Barrel rifle if the barrel length is under 16".

So, if you have your Form I completed and returned...this is a great option if you're like me and waiting on a stock from Sig (still predicting another 8-10 weeks when I called yesterday). Or you can mount up an Sig arm brace.

I don't believe so. Rumor has it that the gen2 will be released around the same time as the K. This makes me think that the K will be the first of the gen2. Hopefully just a few more weeks.

When MPX-K releases, will it have keymode handguard for sure? If so, will BCMGUNFIGHTER Kinesthetic Angled Grip fit? Thanks.

Had mine out yesterday for an AR/CQB class. Round count was about 400. Not a single issue. KAK was solid and stable. Put an AAC Can up front and it was quiet and fun.

Now if I can just get more magazines....

Mind sharing where you found it for that price?

Finally caved and purchased an MPX just now. Ive been waiting for the MPX-K to be released, but I found a new MPX for $1080 shipped, too good a deal to pass up. I figure I will just purchase a Gen 2 4" upper once they finally get released.

Wow that is a deal. I checked earlier today and the price listed at $1379.99.

This way I can also submit my Form 1 that much sooner, and finally have a use for this MPX stock and all of these mags Ive had sitting around

thats a good price..

can't help but notice places are still uses this misleading description, unless these are gen 2 guns which I didn't think are out yet.

"he SIG MPX is the only submachine gun that allows the operator to change barrel length, caliber and stock configuration in the field to meet mission requirements. Features Extended adaptable handguard Easily converts to 9 mm NATO, .357SIG, or .40S&W Pistol Semi-Automatic 8" Barrel"

I plan on buying the 4.5" barrel or Gen 2 upper once they become available. I bought 2 Tros 3 lug adapters, one for the 8" and another for the shorter barrel once available. I could have cut the barrel but don't want to risk messing with the great accuracy/reliability plus I already submitted my Form 1 and defined the maximum length.

A few things to note about the Tros adapter, i was told it would take 2-3 weeks but due to unusual circumstances it took MUCH MUCH longer but the parts are great. I think he is finally starting to get caught up on orders although he still owes me a few adapters in other thread patterns.

The adapters do add about an inch to the overall length where the 1/2x28 adapters barely add any length. The difference is due to the larger diameter of the metric thread and therefore the 3 lug part doesn't begin until after the barrel ends. In the end, still a great method to get a QD set up which is important for me when transporting or to use different silencers either full size or K cans.

Crash_Pro, if your barrel was shorter and the handguards remained at the same length, would your suppressor fit underneath the handguards? THe setup I am planning is the MPX-K, but the 8" handguards to cover a good portion of my suppressor.

Sorry for the late reply, busy time of the year at work... Yes it would definitely fit under the rail with some room to spare and that is the Octane 9 and Griffin 9K, both 1.375" cans. I don't know if the sub-gun cans would work like the Thompson SG-2 that are like 1.6" in diameter, i actually have one pending Form 4 so i'll know in a few months.

I also plan to get the short barrel and have the can tucked into the hand guard when they are available, will make it even more awesome!

I'm going to have my barrel cut down to 4.5" and put a 3-lug adapter on it. Does it matter if I go with the 1/2x28 or the 13.5x1? I will match the thread to the one I order of course, just didn't know if it mattered.

Anyone know the ETA of the "K" version?
Although I heard some complains about "gas in the face" when MPX runs suppress, I still want to get one in 4" version.
I already have GM-9 on CZ Scorpion which I plan to move it between the two pistols.

I'm surprised people are still picking up these Gen 1 guns. Or when it comes to Sig, release version .7 then release what they should have in the first place as a Gen 2 (556, MCX, MPX). I still want an MPX badly, hopefully the updated K version will show up soon.
