This why I despise all current politicians. We are going to destroy Trump! Wait til we take over, we’re going to go after the dims and indict them all. They will pay!!

With all this bravado and BS, small wonder the American people never get any answers or progress on our concerns. Nothing but back and forth finger pointing. Years of nothing accomplished. No one held accountable.

This entire thing is a case of trying to watch two movies at the same time under the confused belief they are about the same thing. It's like watching Gone With The Wind and Animal House at the same time.

We know more than we knew a week ago but not enough to come up with any clear answers.

Did the FBI know ahead of the seizure that attorney client privilege was in play? If so they shouldn't have seized those documents but now that they have, is the FBI going to say they weren't looked at?

What's in the affidavit? Lies or truths? Massaged grey areas?

Did the president declassify the documents? Is this is form or something that's put into writing? Does he just pass his hand over things and it's done with aides doing the paperwork?

Did someone in the current administration reclassify them or is it, "one declassified, always declassified" type of situation?

Trump posted on Truth Social a bit ago:

Wow! In the raid by the FBI of Mar-a-Lago, they stole my three Passports (one expired), along with everything else. This is an assault on a political opponent at a level never seen before in our Country. Third World!

I can hear the left now, he only noticed it was missing because he was going to flee the country. Razz Roll Eyes

I'm guessing he had a blue personal current, and one expired, and a brown official diplomatic.

On Friday, Tulsi Gabbard filled in for Tucker Carlson. Here is her conversation with Republican attorney, Harmeet Dhillon on the FBI raid.

The Left has absolutely lost their minds over Gabbard guest hosting for Tucker. Really. They are going fucking crazy.

DOJ Opposes Release Of Underlying Affidavit For FBI Mar-A-Lago Raid

https://www.zerohedge.com/poli...it-fbi-mar-lago-raid

The Department of Justice has opposed the release of the underlying FBI affidavit used to justify last week's raid on Mar-a-Lago because they claim "it would serve as a roadmap to the government’s ongoing investigation, providing specific details about its direction and likely course, in a manner that is highly likely to compromise future investigative steps," according to Politico's Kyle Cheney.

"The fact that this investigation implicates highly classified materials further underscores the need to protect the integrity of the investigation," the DOJ said in a Monday court filing.

Trump and other Republicans stepped up calls on Sunday for the release of the affidavit after a search warrant released last week indicated that Trump had 11 sets of classified documents at his home - which he told journalist John Solomon were declassified before they were taken out of the White House. The DOJ convinced a judge that they had probable cause to conduct the search due to potential violations of the Espionage Act - which have nothing to do with classification issues.

What's more, the DOJ says the release of the FBI affidavit would "chill future cooperation" by witnesses.

Separately on Sunday, the bipartisan Senate Intelligence Committee, led by Democrat Mark Warner and Republican Marco Rubio, asked the Justice Department and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence to provide the seized documents on a classified basis.

A spokesperson for the committee, charged with oversight of the handling of classified information, said the two senators had also requested "an assessment of potential risks to national security" as a result of possible mishandling of the files.

Representative Mike Turner, the top Republican on the House Intelligence Committee, said on CNN on Sunday that the Biden administration should provide more details on what led to the search.

"Congress is saying, 'Show us. We want to know what did the FBI tell them? What did they find?'" Turner said. -Reuters

Just Us Department: "We can't release the search warrant probable cause affidavit because it will show that the FBI lied again and we could only get a rabidly anti-Trump Judge with questionable morals to sign it."

Don't worry the Lame Stream Media will be full of rumors and innuendo, along with baseless false statements from the usual "anonymous sources".

Looking like Dir. Christopher Wray used taxpayer money to take the FBI Gulfstream V to his vacation home as he left the Senate hearing early, not attending the second session that day.

Gonna have to reimburse the government for that trip now.

How do you go on vacation during the biggest investigation of your career?

How many times have we heard of actual spies not being prosecuted because too much sensitive information would come out in court? The DOJ understands that problem very well, and has for some time.

If the affadavit actually contained anything sensitive, wouldn't a simpler, less informative affadavit have supported a warrant to seize what the FBI seems to be describing as having been fairly specific papers? Or did the FBI look back on the discrediting of the whole Russian Collusion boondoggle and the way it unraveled when the facts came out, and only then decide that they didn't want the court to unseal the affadavit?

Always look to the forum, to learn the news about the news, the who's who in the zoo, the snippets and the factoids.

There's not much in the Aus media on developments ...

Rep. Mike Turner, R-Ohio, speaking on "The Record with Greta Van Susteren," ... insisted that "this must rise to the level of immediate national security level in order for them to go into his home.

And the shenanigans and jockeying from the left, for November ... being mindful of 'the drowning man' syndromes.

I'd imagine that this is indeed, one of those "we know what we don't know .."

The passports were not listed on the seized inventory list provided by the FBI.

DOJ admits taking Trump's passports, offers to return them

FBI may also have mistakenly collected privileged documents and plan to return those

https://justthenews.com/govern..._campaign=newsletter

In an acknowledgment the FBI over-collected evidence during the Mar-a-Lago raid, the Justice Department informed Donald Trump's team Monday that agents seized the former president's passports and are obligated to return them, Just the News has learned.

The department was making plans Monday evening to return the passports and has also alerted defense lawyers the FBI may have obtained materials covered by various privileges that will be returned in the next two weeks, two sources told Just the News.

DOJ has designated a process for separating materials that could be covered by executive privilege or attorney client privilege, the sources said.

The sources spoke only on the condition of anonymity because the communications between the two sides are confidential.

The revelation came as Trump lawyers are discussing whether to go to court to demand a special legal officer be designated to review Trump evidence that was seized that was outside the scope of the warrant.

They've just helped themselves to the lives of Donald and Melania Trump. This is utterly disgraceful.

It would be so easy to get angry about all of this and to rail and make loud, solemn promises, but it won't change a thing. All I can do is hope for the day when more than a few people answer for this crime.
