Horse soldier Bourbon, got to meet a couple of these guys at the local liquor store in my town, they are all veterans and after Afghanistan they started a Bourbon distillery. Excellent Bourbon!
They made a movie about all 12 of them on Netflix . The movie is called 12 Strong, after watching it I don’t know how they all made it out Alive.
Great Bourbon!

I've been sipping straight bourbon over a little ice for years.
At the liquor store there was abox with a bottle of Elijah Craig
and a small bottle of walnut syrup to make an Old Fashioned.
Never had one before but it was tasty. Anyone have good recipes
for an Old Fashion?

The classic Old Fashioned:

Muddle one sugar cube, dash of Bitters, splash of water.

Add whiskey (bourbon or rye), couple ice cubes, garnish with slice of orange.

Sip and enjoy.

Thank you. No idea what Bitters are. I'll find some and give it a try.

Our local grocery chain (Publix) carries it, and I have also found it in Walmart, in the aisle with wine, etc. I use the orange flavored variety, same brand, similar bottle.

Mmm, I do like a good Old Fashioned.
Should have a bottle of Ranger Creek headed my way from one of our IT vendors. They bought a barrel & are giving a bottle to the attendees of a webinar.

Carlsberg Pilsner. Stopped at a Total Wine this morning to browse; a lot of winter warmer ales/Christmas brews were on display.

I just shared the best beer I’ve ever had the pleasure to drink.

Another friend gifted me this very difficult to obtain beer which is rated as the number 2 beer in the world.

After sharing the bottle we went to Spaten lager and it tasted plain. I can’t believe those words exited my lips as Spaten lager is a wonderful beer.

If you ever get the chance - take it.
