I don’t think I’m alone when someone says UFO (the old term apparently) they mean aliens. If a fucking drone flys by but you can’t identify it as such it is a UFO but not what we are commonly referring to.

There is no proof of aliens. This is stupid, like flat earth stupid

So why aren't countries like China and Russia having public governmwnt hearings on UFO's and extraterrestrial life visiting earth?

Might have something to do with us not being a serious country any longer.

Look at how much (in our present short time) we have thrown out into space. I think it's possible that prior civilizations have done the same, and some of what we are seeing now are some of those objects making their way back around the galaxy to us, passing through never to be seen again until however long it takes them to come back through again.

China and Russia are NOT good examples of how government should act or behave. If anything they are the absolute worst examples. Both are among the most dishonest governments in existence on this planet.

Talk about missing the point.

Guess which country just banned the insidious, destructive ideology of transgenderism as a matter of public policy. Well, it wasn't us.

The point is that countries like Russia and China are living in reality while the US and the West in general have lost our damned minds.

It's certainly NOT a stretch by any means to make such a statement about the U.S. Government! They didn't earn the reputation as 'THE largest criminal enterprise on the face of the earth' for nothing!

Balzé,

China has people in concentration/labor camps, Russia is a fucking joke of a country. The only thing those countries are serious about is abusing their citizens and allowing thugs to run their nation.

The US isn’t perfect but we’re a hell of a lot more open and honest than Russia or China at least for the time being. Our mass media sucks but we don’t censor our citizens anywhere near as badly as those two shit nations.

So no I didn’t miss your point I just don’t think the fact that Jack boot wannabe nations are not talking about UFO/UAP things in the sky means much of anything. Those governments are not at all transparent and have never been.

Please provide as much detail as you can regarding what you mean by "life on this planet has gone through many iterations."

A person may make any claims they wish, but until you provide actual evidence, you're just talking, and that makes it meaningless.

I'll say it once again- in this forum, I will not tolerate fantasies.[/QUOTE]

I base the theory (only a hypothetical mental exercise) based on what we know about what I'll call 'current history'. Evidence of cataclysmic events, several extinctions, new findings that many items like the Sphinx and pyramids and settlements throughout the world are actually much older than initially thought. Lost civilizations that have no known reasons for disappearing and the like. Just something that I have thought as a possibility to explain events like UAP's and the technical capabilities and advances of humans. You are correct, I am no physicist, anthropologist etc. Just a person trying to make sense of things other than just excepting "it's aliens" for many reasons given throughout this thread.

I came to start thinking this after a visit to Arches National Park. The presentation given by the Park Ranger stated that the area has undergone at least 7 changes of ocean to land, land to ocean, layer upon layer. Seven times! That got me to thinking, well if there were prior civilizations, intelligent or not, of course we can't find proof. It's buried many miles deep.

Again, just a way for me to try and find rational reasons for some of the crazy stuff that is out there. Just as most accept that there is other life out there, what is wrong with thinking that there was previous life right here?

Anyway, now you know why I thought about asking for permission before talking about my Mars theory. : ) Just think about this theory as a thought exercise, nothing more nothing less. No offense intended. Feel free to delete/remove anything I posted about this. It's your house and I understand. I don't post a whole bunch, and if you look I think you'll find I typically only post if I can add something beneficial. I was mistaken in my belief that my current post could just make people think beyond the "it's aliens." Mea Culpa.

That's a big pile of nothing.

Believing that life exists elsewhere is based upon mathematical probabilities.

Believing that Atlantis-type civilizations existed on this planet, when it's contrary to all we know about our home, is fantastic speculation and nothing more- literally nothing more than that. There is no evidence of any kind to support your belief. None. You can just make up whatever stories you want, and that's what you're doing.

I simply relish in the fact that I am but a fart from a flea on a tick on a dogs ass in comparison to this great, wild, unknown universe. We'll come and go as those before and those after us, with not even a hint of a whisper from any outside of our very planet, much less solar system.

I'll be the first to admit if I'm ever proven wrong. Just hope they don't "probe" me to get their point across Eek

I find it interesting that the pilots weren’t detecting the UAPs on their sensors until they upgraded to the Aegis Spy 1 radar in the early 2000’s. But once they did, they testified that they were seeing these things nearly daily for 2 years of training. So they’d probably been in proximity to these things their entire careers and had no idea.

The advancement in weapons technology over the last 400 years has been impressive. If weapons tech continues on the same development path then the next 400 years will likely bring some new weapons that might have ET thinking twice about flying too close to this crazy planet. Big Grin

Lemme ask a silly question...

Does everyone understand that UFO doesn't mean aliens?

UFO sightings are real, aliens visiting us are not.

Yes, I think everyone understands that. But listen to the testimony in this hearing. There is a clear insinuation that "aliens" are involved, or at least a deliberate effort to confuse the public.

From the hearing:

Rep. Jared Moskowitz (D-FL): "the American public has a right to learn about technologies of unknown origins, non-human intelligence and unexplainable phenomena."

And:

Rep. Eric Burlison (R-MO) questioning witness David Grusch, U.S. military combat veteran and Pentagon intelligence officer: "You've said the U.S. has intact spacecraft. You said that the government has alien bodies or alien species. Have you seen the spacecraft? [...] Have you seen any of the bodies?"

"That's not something I have witnessed myself," Grusch replied. But he answered a subsequent question by stating definitively that, when it comes to UAP crash retrievals, "biologics came with some of these recoveries." Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) pushed Grusch if he meant human or non-human. "Non-human, and that was the assessment of people with direct knowledge on the program I talked to," Grusch replied.

Now, this language seems carefully worded. "Biologics" and "non-human" could be anything from bacteria to a monkey or even an alien for that matter, but it's not specific of anything.

So yes, UFO doesn't mean "alien," and nothing testified to explicitly states we are dealing with alien life, but they are clearly trying to make people think that this is what they are talking about.
