I had to delete one recent song as I overlooked it was already posted, hard to get thru all these pages to see if there's a repeat. I did see that Gustofer and TMats did post a couple of Beach Boys but just cannot forget this one from the Ole' days

Donald Trump is not a politician, he is a leader, politicians are a dime a dozen, leaders are priceless.

Lost my LP of Tony Bennett. Trying to find a copy of his song that went like this "Soon it's gonna rain I can feel it, soon it's gonna rain, rain pell mell, and what will I do with you" Loved that song. I was in the army from '67 through '89, mostly overseas in 3rd world countries and missed a lot of the culture of that era. Enjoy this thread though, thank you!

Many pages ago I posted a video of The Doors, “Riders on the Storm.” This morning, I saw a video lesson on Robby Krieger’s guitar parts on the song “LA Woman.” The lesson started with, “Go listen to the song.” I did.

This video seems to have been created by the same person who did the first one. Film of Jim Morrison in a Shelby Mustang, some random film of Morrison, and a live performance. Woven into the video are scenes from the movies Bullett and Vanishing Point. Pretty cool.

LA Woman

My college ice hockey team would skate out onto the ice to this song. Loved it since.

So many great songs from this gifted musician, so I’ll just drop Stevie Wonder’s Superstition here.

And let's not forget the great Bay City Rollers. Big Grin

Yep, corny as all get out out, but dang they had a few good ones.

And any of us who grew up in rural America with one AM station will remember dedications to your sweethearts. Big Grin

And, of course ABBA. Dancing Queen, among many other great songs they had. And I'm not ashamed to admit it.
