We went out to do a little exploring over the weekend. There was rain and our plans for some back country got put off. We did visit a site called the Nautilus.

We came across these Swallow nests while looking for Ancient Indian drawing. As much as we're out we'd never seen them before.

Blue Angels at the Smokey Mountain Airshow 2016

Thanks Vanquish! I am just beginning in photography with a beginner Nikon D3200 and only had the 18-55mm lense with me at the Airshow yesterday. I learned I really need some zoom. I got some great pics (for me) but most would have been so much better with a bit more zoom. I took that yesterday at the Smokey Mountain Airshow. The Blue Angels rock! That was my favorite photo of the bunch. I appreciate the kind words. It's encouraging.

An idea for using a cantilevered mount I have on my Poly Lower & .22lr upper.

Went to check out an area on the Utah/Nevada border. You drive through a terrific Joshua Tree Forest and come to a wetland area.

The wife and I were in France last week, we took the wrong staircase in the Louvre and ended up face-to-face with this guy.

Looks kind of like one of the heads from Easter Island.
