I wondered the same. Seizures or something immediately incapacitating, sure.
At the time they declined to renew my medical certificate (after a successful series of forty-plus radiation zaps), I asked the Feds to cite one, just one, instance of a pilot being incapacitated by prostate cancer. Just one. Has it EVER happened?

"Doesn't matter," said they. "We're from the government and we can do whatever the fuck we want. Don't try to use logic with us, we've seen that ploy before, and it won't work."

That sucks VTail. As if we don't have enough reasons why unelected bureaucrats should not be running anything.

Thank you P250UA5! They are very good auto-x cars, and I've learned a bunch about the platform while modding and maintaining it over the last 4 years. As soon as it's perfect the transmission will need a rebuild and then I'll be tempted, (nay, forced!) do something really stupid to it.

I came really close to buying a ND1 [2016 or so] and was going to have my Civic as a kid car & daily the ND.
Had mod plans already in my head, first ones being a set of 6UL wheels & a Goodwin Helmholtz exhaust.
Ended up needing a truck & bought an F150 Frown

Haven't driven an ND2 or newer, but all that I've read all looks even better.

My favorite fun vehicle over the last couple days has been my tractor because of the effort it saved me clearing the drive and loading wood on the porch.

No car is as much fun to drive, as any motorcycle is to ride.

My favorite fun vehicle is my Cannondale Moterra Carbon full power electric mountain bike that I raced last year. I managed two podiums on it against competitors half my age!

I have modified/changed every part except for the main carbon frame, rear shock and rear triangle. I wasn’t able to get it as light as the latest $15,000 race bike but I got within 7 lbs of its weight for a fraction of the cost! I commute to work on it when it’s not obscenely cold outside multiple times a week.

When these bikes become more mainstream they are going to blow so many minds! They are more fun than any motorcycle I’ve ever ridden.

Got this 86 Alfa Spider a couple of months ago. Usually stick to British cars as toys but got a good deal on this and couldn't resist.

Great bike!

Is that an early-2000s Maxima next to it?

Thanks! It's actually a 1997 Maxima with only 80k miles on it still. Converted to manual transmission. It's also what got me to choose my screen name on car forums that I carried over to SigForum. Cool

I guess it can still qualify as a fun vehicle, so I'll also add to it here.

VG30DE?
Had that engine in my 96 Infiniti J30.
Fun car, but would've been much better with a manual.
It threw reverse & wasn't a great choice for a broke college student. Sold it after replacing the transmissino.

the 4th gen Max from 95-99 have the VQ30DE. The Infiniti I30s are basically fancy Maximas. I believe the J30 is in a class of it's own.

I've got four kids, so my take on a fun vehicle is a little different than most, but currently I have two that are just for fun.

First is my 2003 Haulmark 6x12 enclosed trailer that we converted into a rustic bunkhouse camper. It's taken us all over the country...literally coast-to-coast...and enabled our family of six to see and do things that we'd never have experienced otherwise.

The other is my 1993 16' Sea Nymph with 25HP Evinrude outboard. Simple, cheap, and low maintenance, it's provided countless hours of relaxation and fun with the kids.

In the future, I'd love to build out a 4WD Suburban (or if it's after the kids move out a 2-Door Tahoe) to get us onto some trails out west where our current rig can't go. Either that or a couple of Kawasaki KLRs and some tents, although I doubt I'll ever be able to talk my wife into getting on a bike.
