That's a purty Buick. At first glance I thought it was a Chevelle, but nope.

Unfortunately, we had to sell this years ago to pay for a new kitchen that was destroyed by termites; 2020 Grand Prix GT that my wife bought as a graduation present when she got her Bachelors @ 21 y/o. Both of us LOVED that car!

One of 1768 1967 Pontiac Catalina’s with the 2+2 option. Pontiac’s answer to the Chevy Impala SS. The 2+2 was only available in the U.S. from 1964 to 1967, the Canadian version until @970 but those all were with Chevrolet drivetrains.

This is a four speed, a lot more fun than an automatic.

Thanks. This is the second 2+2 I have owned, my first was a 66 four speed car also. Got it from a friend in 1970. The original 421 was blown up, he swapped in a Ram Air 3 engine from a 69 GTO. Owns that car until 1976. This 67, I bought it as a basket case in 1986, coming up on 40 years of ownership.

Took the GSXR out for some twisty roads yesterday. The Yamaha R3 used to be mine, sold it to a friend and the bikes got to hang out together once again.

I sold the Goldwing I had earlier posted in this thread so thought I'd update it. I had been looking for a Sportster for a while but had it narrowed down to one model (XL1200R) with fuel injection and 4.5 gallon tank which were only made two years 2007 and 2008. And it had to be stock with low mileage. I eventually found one for sale meeting my requirements other than having loud Screaming Eagle mufflers. Fortunately used factory mufflers are plentiful and cheap.

So I bought it, replaced the original tires, put factory mufflers on, and changed the seat to one that is 2" higher as well as moves me rearward 2". As far as a motorcycle it doesn't do anything particularly well but nevertheless it's fun to ride and puts a smile on my face.

No car is as much fun to drive, as any motorcycle is to ride.

Nice score ridewv! As far as Sportsters go you got one of the best ones. Great looks and an excellent riding position. I really like that seat! It looks so damn good on that bike.

I’ve been so tempted to get a Sportster to compliment my Buell X1 but the dang Buell is a perpetual project that is “nearly sorted out completely”. Meaning I still have a few issues to sort before I buy another American made bike.

Though a local Kawasaki Z125 Pro did manage to find its way to the garage recently Big Grin

Thanks Stickman. It's just a basic Sportster but it works pretty well.

Well your Lightening should satisfy your Sportster itch, it has a modified Sportster drivetrain with a better chassis, brakes, etc.

Don’t get me wrong ridewv, I LOVE my Buell but when I ride it I ride it HARD. This is probably why I have had so many issues.

Great bikes but they don’t quite hold up to a good thrashing quite like a SV650 or SV1000.

A sportster would be a more laid back ride and I love the idea of making one into a cafe racer or dirtster.

I almost bought a HIGHLY modded sporty with a Buell engine that looked a lot like this. I’m still mad at myself for letting it get away.

While walking along the street in Spain today I saw this. I had no idea they even existed!!! All I ever see in the states is the 690 KTM supermotos and occasionally 300-400cc supermotos.

This is a KTM SMC 125R. Light, beautiful and fun as hell I bet. I wish I could bring this home with me.
