I could have sworn I got on the list for one of these a long time ago, but in checking they said no record of it. Confused

So now I'm #4975. Frown

My mistake. It was the Miyako I had signed up for. #529 on that one. Smile

Graduation gift for my son. I don’t think it’s too much to wear at college:

I was tempted to keep it for myself, but it looks better on his wrist than mine. That’s my mine in the photo.

I'm kinda hoping stickman will buy it, so I can try it on later. Razz

This has been my go-to lately. I'm getting used to the feel of a larger heavier watch on my wrist.

Very nice, 6guns! Cool

I like the Samurai, because it's heavy and I know it's there. I also like my Alpinist and my old chrono, because they're so light I forget they're there. Cool

God bless America.

This SRP745K1 is one of the more funky Seiko 5 Sports watches. It has a case similar to the Samurai and a dial that reminds me of the Monster. I’ve wanted one of these for a long time. Cool

Trapper, I'm a sucker for those Hamilton's!
I have always liked their retro look on the new watches.

I have my Dad's original Ventura. I don't think it's worth the price to repair it. So a newer Ventura is on my short list.

I also thought I had put myself on the list for the Ti Vanuatu and Ti Khuraburi, but I guess I hadn't. I am now. Don't even have the emails yet to tell me how long of a wait lol. I'm definitely getting the Ti engineer's bracelet whenever I get the email... in three years.

I really wanted to like the Komodo, but I just couldn't. I can't do a 40mm case diver. I walked it to a Sigforum member who also posted in the Karma thread I won my place in, no regrets. I wasn't sure about a titanium watch, but I've got two of them now, both Maratac, and they get a lot of wrist time. NATO or Barton silicon straps only so far, as one of them is a 20mm lug width instead of 22mm. I have a whole gallon freezer bag full of 22mm NATO straps, and this one with 20mm lugs is an absolute strap monster in the making. I bought a five ring Bond grey and black Zulu strap for it. It's all I wear now, unless I'm switching off for my Casio beaters. I guess I like it enough I feel like I can start buying 20mm straps. Roll Eyes

VThoky, I didn’t get a Vanuatu Ti this time around. My phone messed up and wouldn’t give me access and I didn’t have time to try on a computer as Matt at Helm recommended BUT I did manage to save my spot in the line.

The next time they are available I’ll get one and by then Matt said the issue with the website should be resolved. Cool

When I get a Ti Vanuatu I suppose my stainless steel Vanuatu, which I’ve only worn a few times and is 100% mint will go up for sale.

A new member of the herd: Laco Kiel.2 Schwartz. I've been looking for a nice Pilot/Chronograph and Laco (made in Germany) had this model at a very reasonable price, with a good reputation for build quality as well as design. Ordering sight unseen is always a bit of a crapshoot, since you can't try the watch on and though the specs seem "right"...who knows? Anyway, I'm very pleased with the watch's fit, finish, features, and overall quality, even (to my surprise) the leather strap! It not only accommodates my 7.5"+ sized wrist, but provides a comfortable fit! The leather is just soft enough, but still not thin by any means.

So Jack Daniels has a watch made specially for Tennessee Squires. Yeah, I reserved one with my plot number.

Hey man! Sorry for the delayed response. Work kicked my ass today. I thought the rain would keep people away from the local bike shop but I was damn wrong. Big Grin I am not complaining, I LOVE my job but today it kept me busy and I had to go straight from work to a band performance so I’m just now catching up on my emails. Smile

TexasScrub, that is a frickin SWEET looking watch. I only have one watch made of wood that my wife got me as a birthday present and sadly I was never able to bond with it. That is a wood watch I could see myself wearing often! Cool

That is a very nice looking and practical watch. I like those Laco Fliegers!!

Since the SWATCH didn't go over so well, how about a Zenith?

I thought I could never be able to obtain one of these, but as soon as Daytonas became easily available now, they have FLOODED the market at half price! So I sold a Rolex Date Just at a hefty profit to my brother and snagged this from Crown and Caliber.
