Ironmike, I hope you like it! Be sure and let us know what you think. I’ve been eyeballing them for about a year now. I ordered a B47 Max Lum from a third party just as they sold out and got delivered a keychain as a consolation prize along with my refund. They should be back in stock this month and I’m highly tempted to go ahead and snag one.

Though, I agree, those Vortex models are pretty tempting. I particularly like the D1 and D5 colorways.

I spoke with the GM yesterday. He said the July watches are ready early and will ship soon.

Did you guys see Steinhart’s new Ocean 39 premium 904. Yep the case is 904 L stainless steel. Dammit Steinhart why do you have to tempt me with a watch like this!?!? I even like that dial.

Steinie’s new Ocean 39 premium 904

Must resist. I don’t need any more Steinhart watches....

Nah - 904L isn't that big a deal - that is just Rolex trying to be "sepcial." And I am not a fan of the Steinhart's watches that are close homages, although I do like some of theirs where they do their own thing.

(Just trying to help. Wink )

Thanks for the info! Man, I nearly took advantage of their Memorial Day sale. They were priced at $420 vs $495. That would have been a smart move.

Y'all like my new bling? Big Grin.

Haha just kidding I got it for my wife as an anniversary present since she doesn’t like how her Steinhart will die if she doesn’t wear it. Since we have the same wrist size (she HATES this fact) I had to get a quick wrist shot. Big Grin

Best part: I got it for a song at my local mom & pop jeweler. Cool

I'm a couple of hundred in front of you. I expect to be up in 2022, unless they build more than the balance of 700 this year. They have an average of 40 - 50 % non orders from their waiting list.

Didn't she have that white MOP Steinhart, the one with the black pips and hands? I liked that watch, but they boogered it up with gold a year or so ago.

Where can you find out where you are?

This must be new because I had not seen it before. It was on the bottom of the Komodo page and all you do is enter the email address you listed on their site and it gives you your number in line.

Thanks. That is a new feature. I am 2096, so I am in that two-ish year range, I suppose. That is a drag.

JHE888, yeah I got her one of the white MOP ocean 39s before Steinhart changed them and added the gaudy gold. I wish I had bought two of them. The watch looks incredible on a quality blue NATO strap. I see them occasionally on the fleabay and they all sell for more than the original price from Steinie.

I’d wear it. The watch is gorgeous. My wife doesn’t dislike her Steinie she just doesn’t like that she has to wear it to keep it going. I tried to explain to her this is why it is superior to quartz and how it has character but she just wasn’t buying it. The eco drive made sense for her as a daily watch. Now the Steinie is her special event/beach/boating/diving watch.

I'm 502 on the Vanuatu TI list, although I've become very attached to my Vanuatu stainless with the NATO strap, it's one of my favorites. Not sure whether I'll be up for the TI when my number comes around... we'll see. I've got a Komodo and Khuraburi too, but seldom wear either of them.
