I'm sure it's partly launch livery, that and daddy Mazepin brings some big $$ to the team.

Let's get some more car debuts going!
Hammy's not going anywhere, but his absence has kept him at the top of the F1 off-season news.

This whole drama about whether Hammy is coming back or not is just a giant mind game by Toto and Hammy. They’re using the threat of Hammy not returning to get their pound of flesh from the FIA (mainly Masi getting fired). And when they do get what they want from the FIA, because they’ll certainly knuckle under, Toto will announce his triumphant return with slathering talk about how “brave” he is and more determined than ever. Get your vomit bags ready.

Lando's signed with Mclaren through 2025.
Waiting to see the cars start running again at the test to see if all the changes show positive effects.
Also to see if the mock up versions look like the actual cars and if anyone has found something special to give them an edge.

We'll see how many still look like this on FP1 in Bahrain.
RBR has already said their launch car is a promo shell & not the race spec unit.

With Barcelona being a 'closed' test & team likely still sandbagging through the Bahrain test, we'll have to wait for FP1 to really see how they all look.

The truth is that all were really seeing is the graphics.
Very few of these cars have enough distinctive features that any but the most knowledgeable and attentive could ID more that one or two if they were shown in bare carbon bodywork.

Agreed that it's mostly just livery reveals.
From what I've read, Aston has the most close to race-spec. I think only RBR has outright said that theirs is a prop car & not what the race-spec unit will be.

One of the comparisons I've seen, both MB PUs:

The Williams & AlphaTauri look great.

Curious to see an undisguised Alfa, and looking forward to the return of the Silver Arrows, after 2 years in the black.
