Anyone wondering that gets lucky. The stagg 2017 is really good.

Nose is figs n tobacco

Palate is the same also raisins. Its much like the 2013 but zero chocolate notes.

Really good. Drank it neat.

Don't know yet - bought it through the TW Grand Reserve Member sale. Delivery in 8 to 12 weeks. But for the price and ease of acquisition, well worth the wait, IMHO!

Wow, I have a hard time sleeping staying a select member, and that it 1\5 what you need to spend to stay grand reserve.

Grand is only 2500 right? Thats not hard especially id you drink wine.

ya average whiskey bottle is what $50 now? thats only 50 bottles. one a week. I used to drink a handle every 3 days so I don't judge

In other news aparently Elmer T lee is worth 80 dollars now and weller $200 People man... gotta be desperate to pay those prices.

I've mentioned before, I could happily live the rest of my life with no other liquor to drink but Pappy 15 and VW Rye. And my next favorite "desert island" set would be Stagg, Handy, and WLWeller. Frankly, the only reason I even mess with anything else at all is because it's an expensive pain in the balls to just stock the above choices.

And there are a bunch of great whiskeys, too, from several distilleries, but those are my jam more so than anything else.

Im really diggin Bakers for some reason. Teice now at a bar amd I hate jim beam. Not sure whats up but it aint bad.

I like the Beam flavor, whether via Booker's, Baker's, or Knob Creek. And I don't really mind plain old White, if I was still drinking Bourbon with Coke, but it's no sipping whiskey anymore so than Jack Daniels is. They're too raw at 4yo, but I like the favor itself.

I stick to KC SB 120, myself, in that line, but Bakers is good, too.

The best JB I've had is KC at 135 proof straight from the barrel at the distillery. The 120 tasted like ass compared to it. It was 9am but I still couldnt believe how disappointed I was when I got home and tasted my bottles.

I came up on Beam White and water, shoulda been buying pappy before it was popular instead of that stuff. live and learn. lol

Man I'd love to have a case of that... ^
