If you can find it, please try the 1792 Bottled-in-Bond. The Full Proof has a good reputation but I have not yet tried it.

Picked up a bottle of Angels Envy Triple Oak last weekend.

Nice mild woody flavors. Not as strong as the Woodford triple oak.

A lower proof bourbon that is very good neat.

Cheers~

I grabbed a bottle of Old Elk’s 95% wheater. WOW.

If you like wheated whiskey, give this a try. You’d think it might be one-dimensional but it is quite complex.

Found a bottle of Wild Turkey Jimmy Russell 70th anniversary last week.

Very smooth with mild wood notes. This is a very good value at $50 for an 8 year expression.
It checks a lot of boxes for me.

I think I'll have to grab another If I see it.

Cheers~

A buddy of mine was able to grab me one and I'm heading to his place Saturday to pick it up. Can't wait to get it, I really like the Wild Turkey offerings and the Russell's offerings.

I grabbed two a few weeks back, it's quite good, but I'm also a Turkey guy.

I got a bottle a couple weeks ago but haven’t opened it yet. Been hearing nothing but positive reviews.

Fortunate to purchase a Stagg Jr last Friday. Now I have the 24A spring release and a 24B fall version. I'm sure I won't be able to tell the difference between the two.

After opening the first one it's obvious there are a bunch of flavors to enjoy. I'll be sipping this slowly for quite a while.

Cheers~

I tried this yesterday. It's got a bit of a bite right off, but it smooths out quickly. I like it.

God bless America.

This is a Michters release, this is one of my favorite bourbons. Bombergers is another Michter that’s really good.

OMG, they are showing Elmer T at BT this morning.

My wife asked last night, if we should go. I said, naw, what are the chances they would ever do something like releasing the EHT Four Grain ever again.

Wish I had gone.

Don't get me wrong, the Four Grain is a far superior pick IMO, but Elmer T is on my list of bottles I want to acquire, but not at secondary pricing.

I saw the Four Grain was a once in a Lifetime bottle from BT.

One of these days I will get down there and go through the gift shop and tour. It'll be a bucket list item for me based on how much I'll spend on the trip in the area.

Picked up a Redwood Empire Screaming Titan today. I know it's not a true bourbon but still a bottle I've wanted since they released it. It's been a tough one to find, I buy one and walk into another store and they have an entire case on the shelf.

It's that how it goes.
