Eh, not really. That was a classic case of Clash of the Dicks.

Skull broke into a base through what's technically a glitch, which is bannable. Arc was with him, said it was ok. The kids the base belonged to got butthurt, called me (Head Admin) and I investigated.

Skull explained to me what happened, I told the kids how to patch their base up.

They were not satisfied, went to Shogun.

He was upset I didn't ban Skull immediately.

Shogun ended up I guess waiting for me to ban Skull, so I did.

So Skull is done there not of his own accord, Arc is done there of his own accord, and I am in limbo I guess?

I'm probably the longest running staff member he has that actually gets on and plays/does admin shit, with Arc literally a few weeks behind me. So if it was worth it to him to basically lose 2 of the 3 admins who actually get on and do shit over what equates to Skull getting a scroll option to climb down a ladder on the other side of a locked door then ok.

I literally could have just given them in game money and they would have shut the fuck up.

It's all kinds of fucked up but you know what? It's a fucking video game, so who really gives a shit.

None of us ever abused. This was over building supplies in a shed that Skull dumped on the ground because those kids were little shitheads...that's it.

Like I said, stop by the Herd, maybe get some interest in starting up Ferris Bueller's DayZ again.

Heh, only problem with starting up any sort of day-z server is arma 2 is on life support. Most people have migrated to arma 3, dayz shitalone, or just quit altogether.

In any case, it doesn't necessarily have to be DayZ, but we could use the warm bodies to plump up the forums, get some interest going in something similar.

I'm playing on the Exclusionary Zone Gaming server now if anybody wants to join me. Just search DayZCommander for EZG.

I think it's right about this time last year when I got back into gaming...and now I'm back. I think I shed girlfriends right around this time of year in anticipation of the summer season...

Eh I am having issues with day-z commander and I just don't feel like fucking with it. Despite what the omnipotent Shogun (he reads this post, and has ever since Nala told him about it a year ago) gathered from my above post, I haven't played on a single other server since I started playing on his servers. But that's neither here nor there.

Did get a recommendation for another server from some former "co-workers" for A3 Epoch but it's kinda low pop. Decent amount of fun stuff on it though. Only downside is the Gurney Hallek level AI that one shots you from 400m.

I'm pretty done with A2 (It's been dying for a while now) at this point but it would be nice to find a solid A3 server to fuck around on.

It's time to have fun again!

I'd be up for that. Even if it's not DayZ/Survival related.
