"I’m not going to read Time Magazine, I’m not going to read Newsweek, I’m not going to read any of these magazines; I mean, because they have too much to lose by printing the truth"- Bob Dylan, 1965

Donald Trump is not a politician, he is a leader, politicians are a dime a dozen, leaders are priceless.

If you're goin' through hell, keep on going.
Don't slow down. If you're scared don't show it.
You might get out before the devil even knows you're there.

Another voice of renown left us yesterday at the age of 87. Connie Francis was very popular in the late '50s to mid '60s. I have only one CD of her work, which was bought after hearing this tune from early 1960.

These ladies were also two sisters and a cousin, just like The Ronettes. Best known for their hit "Chapel of Love".

I heard some time ago that this artist was invited to the White House during Gerald Ford's term. She asked Pres. Ford what his favorite Tex-Mex dish was; he replied her...to which Mrs. Ford swatted him good for that answer.

Petula was still performing up until about two years ago at age 90.

Heard this one quite a bit.

And this number followed soon after in rotation on that station.

I looked to see if we had posted this one, but didn't see it.

I was reading a post from oddball, and his avatar rang a bell. Looked and looked but didn't see this one. So very tempted to post a video with clips from the movie, but..

I think we had "Pretty Woman" way back, but this is another goodie. From 1960 I think.
