The compact/G19 have been available for months. It's the subcompact/G26 and full size/G45 frames Magpul has seriously dropped the ball on.

Good grief, the gun just came out.
They probably want to see how they will sell before making other grip sizes.YMMV

Respectfully, I disagree. The Ruger RXM released in June 2024. Magpul officially announced the availability of full-size and subcompact Enhanced Handgun Grip (EHG) modules for the Ruger RXM pistol in April 2025, however, the alternate capacity grip modules were teased months before.

My apologies, I suppose I took this too literally.. Roll Eyes

As well, I didn't realize ruger357 was looking for subcompact and full-sized grip frames.
I must have missed that..

RXM Compact Grip Frames

Thanks for that. Can you buy the gun with the different grips or do you have to buy the gray one and then buy the black grips?

I'm still waiting for a G26-sized upper. Or even better a 43X. I know that the reason they were able to copy the Gen3 design was due to the patent expiration...does anybody know how close the slimline patent would be to doing the same?

The Ruger website only shows SKUs of complete firearms with the gray frame. 19400, 19401, and 19412. The only RXMs I’ve seen people display with other color frames purchased the frames separately. Whether any distributor has swapped them out after the fact, as the grip module is not the firearm, I’ve not seen it.

Also, a user on Reddit turned his gray frame black using a $3.88 bottle of Rit dye.

I just wanted to post this if you want the black grip but haven’t ordered it yet. I used Rit dye, it took about 3 mins and turned out great.

Just boiled enough water to completely submerge, turned it to simmer, added 1/3 of the bottle of black Rit dye ($3.88) threw the grip in and flipped it every 10-15 seconds for a couple mins. Pulled it out, gave it a good rinse, dried it off. Easy Peasy. Link

I used to dye nylon/plastic w/ RIT. While it looked good, it also didn't hold up long-term. It gradually wore off through abrasion the way Cerakote does but faster. It is cheap & easy to DIY though.

In this video, Johnny Glocks mentions that a guy contacted him and said he is developing a trigger mechanism housing for the RXM that accepts the parts from the Glock Performance Trigger.

About halfway through the video:

The Full Size and subcompact frames are up as coming soon on Magpul’s website.
A meme on Magpul’s FB implies they will be available on Monday.
Someone posted we’re still waiting on the 365 mags they teased a year ago.
Magpul replied teasing with them that they were only teased in April and that Monday was already full with the frame release and they will have till wait until Tuesday for the 365 mags to be released.
Not sure if they were serious or not.

Outstanding

When you disassemble the GPT, you must remove the ejector first, because it holds the sear-holder pin in place.

Huzzah! Full size black or gray grips available now directly from Magpul's website for $40! I grabbed a Full Size Steel Gray frame and added the 2-pistol DAKA case on sale to get free shipping, though I could have got 1 blk and 1 gray to get free shipping. Though I ultimately want the OD green frame, so I'll wait until then.

Edit: black has sold out. Only gray remains.

Good stuff.

In my opinion, the G45-style configuration (full size grip/magazine with compact length slide/dust cover) is the sweet spot for duty/open carry/home defense/competition use.

When paired with an optic (so sight radius isn't a factor), the shorter slide has no drawbacks, other than the negligible ~3%-4% velocity drop. In return, it's a bit quicker on target, balances better at least in my hands, and I actually prefer the recoil impulse over the G17 or G34.

I'm carrying a G45 as my duty gun currently.
