I got the black compact grip at Bass Pro for $37.50 + tax. I bet the full size shows up there at some point.

And a factory RXM Glock 34 would be awesome.

Magpul smartly delayed the release of the OD/FDE full size frames AFTER the release of the Gray/Black full size frames. Thus ensuring I ended up with 2 full size frames (one gray, and one OD). Now, I will likely end up with a 2nd RxM. Mad

I get email alerts for posts in this thread.
For some reason, it never clicked in my head that the RXM uses Glock magazines. Roll Eyes

I'll be picking one up this week and ordering the compact and subcompact frames.. Big Grin

After a hangup due to the wrong part being sent to me, I finally got the RXM GPT trigger housing. It fits and functions perfectly. As Para previously posted in the GPT thread, I, too, feel the + connector is going to be the way to go. I have the 74332 GPT and there is still no discernable wall before the break with the supplied connector.

Once I get the trigger tuned to my liking, I think this pistol will become a new favorite. In my experience, Ruger builds their guns like tanks. So long as the RXM maintains Glock reliability, which I see no reason that it wouldn't.

Wait 'til you find out it can also use Glock slides, barrels, extractors, firing pin assemblies, recoil springs, cover plates, triggers, slide locks, connectors, slide stops, mag releases, sights, and springs too... Big Grin

It's effectively a (very) slightly modified Gen 3 Glock, identical and cross-compatible other than than the proprietary FCU with replaceable grip module, the frame pins, and the trigger housing.

It has been done.
$350 at Superior Outfitters.
That was the price online; it was $399 at the store, and they honored the online price.

I'll make it a project gun. Big Grin

I'm no ace marksman but the RXM did well at the range today.
Trigger feels better than my stock Glocks.

The new-to-me Beretta 84BB didn't do too badly either.
The S&W Bodyguard 2.0 I rented didn't do any better than my Ruger LCP.

The WG DA/SA P228 did well, the WG DAO P226 not so much.
I thought I would like the DAO since I used to like the DAK.
But I was really missing that first short reset.
I'll be dropping a Matrix DA/SA conversion into P226.
Frame is too old for a DAK converstion.

Looks like Ruger has new models. It looks like they are now offering a full size 17 style and you can now get black, FDE, and other colors grip modules on new guns instead of having to just purchase gray.

Oh I forgot to post this. Here is mine. Cool

For ME:
DA/SA=Sig 9mm or HK P30 LEM 9
Striker fired= Glock 9mm
If it's a .45= 1911
Suppressed= HK in .45
I like anything in 10mm

This reminds me that the majority of my firearms are Ruger. And except for an LCP that broke a piece off the frame (for which they gave me a new one), they have all run 100%.

Magpul finally started shipping the sub-compact grip frames last week. Gray wasn't my first choice but it was the only one available when I checked. I haven't got to shoot it yet, but I'm liking it so far. This better be worth the 10 month wait of "Coming Soon!" that I stared on their website.

If you have an "ID.me" account (1st responder/military/medical etc..) you get 10% off and free shipping on the Magpul site.

It is tempting for the price. I held one at the store last week. They feel great and appear to be well made. I have my eye on 2 other pistols so the RXM will have to wait. The wife only allows me to buy 2 per year so I have to be discerning.

Looking forward to a review hopefully with pics of you holding it and compared against a G26.

Looking forward to it as well.
I'm on the fence on getting either a subcompact frame for the RXM or the GS M1X frame for my old G26.

I don't have a G26 to compare it to, but I did get a chance to put 2 boxes of 124 range ammo through it earlier this week. I used a standard 10 round Gen 5 G26 mag, a Gen 5 G26 mag with a Pearce +1 extension and 2 Magpul G26 12 round mags (which is the only one they make I guess).

There were no issues with the gun or the mags. I thought the Magpul mags were a little loose in the magazine well, not so much when they were full, but when they emptied out they got a little wobbly. I tried moving them around while shooting to see if I could get it to FTF, but it never caused a malfunction. The Glock mags fit perfectly and worked as they should. I ended up adding a small strip of Talon grip tape to the front of the Magpul mag pinky extension as they are WAY too smooth.

I'm super happy with it. Shooting it with the flush fit G26 mag is fine, obviously not as comfortable as having the Pearce extension on the other mag, but I'm just as accurate with the flush mag, albeit a tad slower probably due to some extra muzzle flip. I plan on getting a couple X Grip sleeves to put on my G19 mags to further the flexibility options of the new grip frames.

Here's some pics of the different mags in the RXM sub-compact grip frame. For reference my hands aren't giant, I usually wear L or XL gloves.

With the G26 flush mag:

With the G26 Pearce +1 extension:

With the Magpul 12 round G26 mag:

Good news. The RXM is now available with a G17-length 4.5" slide.

Comes with their full length G45-size grip, so you can now have a RXM in G47 configuration.

Currently only available from the factory in Black or Gray grip, though any of the colored RXM grips will work with it. You could even set it up in a G19L or G26XL configuration if you wanted the 4.5" slide with a shorter grip.

I just got the full sized RXM. It feels way better than a Gen 5 Glock 17. And I bet it shoots better. Can't wait to try it out!
