Weird the FDE slide RXM only has a $43 upcharge over the standard. $582 vs $539 MSRP. It could be the increased desirability of the FDE model results in a smaller discount off MSRP. Online I can find the FDE Slide RXM for essentially $20-$40 difference. $361-$400 for regular and $379-$410 for full FDE slide and frame.

When I bought my RXM, it was $60 more for the FDE slide.

The small but noticeable upcharge, plus the lesser durability of the Cerakote coating vs. standard nitride, was enough to dissuade me from what was just a brief whim of doing a "50 Shades of FDE"-style RXM.

For sure. If it had been an ionbond-like finish such as the 19X, it'd be more interested. Cerakote though? Nah, I'll stick with black nitride.
