For Central Florida folks, Florida Gun Exchange, north side of the Daytona metro-plex, has these for $399. Shoot Straight is showing them for $499, I don't know whether they price match.

So, how long until Magpul has the "Flux" chasis for the RMX?
At first I would've thought about how long it would take Flux to have a Raider for the Ruger. But something tells me that Magpul/Ruger might very well have some sort of patent pending on how the trigger group slots into the rear of the grip module.

Fingered one at lgs, on the shelf at $429. I like the gun and the sights. The one thing I don't like is the cutout in the palm area of the grip to strip the mag. On a 19 size frame, I want that extra bit to hold onto.
I have a few SIGs.

$399 at Bud's but I'm kinda boycotting Bud's, at least temporarily. They take forever to ship their guns. IMO, unless it's on their fast track list (which has nothing I'd want).
I didn't check PSA since I'm not in the market for a 19 sized gun, but would certainly consider a thin frame (43, 43x, and 48, if they decide to make one.
Failing that, when they market an already set up 26 size, I "might" be a buyer.

An issue has arisen with premature slide lock when using Glock gen5 magazines, if pressure is applied to the base of the magazine during firing. This is in the comments of the video posted below.
quote:
This, average marksman and others have reported issues with Gen 5 Glock mags and it causing premature slide lock. I haven't fired mine but with some pressure on the base of my Glock mags it will push the slide lock lever up. It appears that shaving like 1/4mm off the back of the part that interfaces with the follower should resolve the issue.
As a respondent to this comment mentioned, this is likely an easy fix for Ruger, once they become aware of the issue via shooter feedback, although it seems to me that this is something which should have been caught during pre-production testing.
8400 rounds through the pistol in one session, with only dunking in water to cool it off. I don't know if I'd call that a torture test. A Glock will, of course, perform just as well, but I think it shows that the RXM is not deficient as a Glock clone.

Hell, (@2:30) it even shoots up the left half of the bulls-eye. That's authentic Glock.

We had the first one come through the shop. Feels like a Glock but initially doesn't point well for me; its upright grip presents the muzzle low, exposing about half of the elevated front sight. I wasn't all that impressed by the trigger; use it like a duty gun and it breaks clean enough, but when staging the trigger it's still plenty mushy with a boatload of grainy creep...just like a Gen4 Glock. It's probably something that can be cleaned up courtesy of running a couple of cases of 124gr ammo. Or not. Internally it mostly resembles a Glock, save for the trigger chassis cage and the revisions for the rear trigger housing. Wasn't obvious to me as to the process of removing that rear housing from the chassis, but I only had a moment to study it before the gun went to the floor for display. It sold right away.
