Why not an ACRO at that point? No screws to break.

I had a P2 for a little while on a Glock 47. Battery life wasn’t the best.

Getting rid of adapter plates solves the problem. But, this is the first plate that sheered off that I have seen. It happening again isn’t a worry of mine by any means. You shoot enough and stuff breaks.

I ordered 4 from GT Distributors this morning and they shipped within two hours.

Wait months for a preorder when plenty of folks have them in stock for cheaper. No thanks.

I just did the same.

Should out to GT Distributors, fast service and great price. Ordered these saturday and they delivered today.

All three that I got in are marked 54870. Not sure that's a date code?

Can confirm that it doesn't work with Shield Arms metal mag catch.

My Grit Grips Glock 19 frame arrived this week. It resolves about 70% of my front sight points up struggle. Ordered their matching Magwell in hopes it gives me some pinky leverage to help out a bit more. Very pleased with it overall.

This was my experience today, had to force the mag in and then rip it out.

Going to swap the mag catch BACK to OEM tomorrow.

Correct. From Greg Cotes-

Nice! I'm still loving the texture on my GritGrips frame, although it did get me "made" the other day by snagging my shirt. It doesn't do that with cotton so much, but it's pretty bad with the lightweight quick-dry polyester stuff that I like to wear in the summer. Still worth it for the much improved shoot ability, though.

Is that mag seated all the way? If so, that protrudes really far. I'm kinda disappointed by that...might as well get an extended magwell since the longest point is still going to be the baseplate. I'd have rather had a 12-14 round flush-fit mag.

Yes, it's seated all the way. I installed the mag catch and wanted to test it.

I'm waiting for them to restock their magwell. Not sure if I'm going to get it in black or grey yet. Unless someone knows who else makes them? I wish I had a 3D printer, I'd try making a magwell for it.

I think a lot of people would've been fine with a flush fit 14 rd mag but I guess they wanted to hit that 15 rd magic number.

Finally got to fiddle around with a Gen6 19. Very nice!!! Great upgrades.
I had just finished shooting about 200 rounds with my Gen5 19 COA and went to a Gen6 19 with no optic.
The Gen6 feels way better in the hand, the grip texture is excellent, and the palm swell is perfect and very noticeable goi g straight from a Gen5 to Gen6.

Only slight issue is that the palm swell moves my thumb out just slightly that I do have to slightly rotate my grip to fully activate the mag release.
I don’t have to rotate my grip in my Gen5.
Now the Gen6 was brand spanking new so the mag release was very very stiff. I could push it slightly but not enough to drop the mag.
This very well could change once the mag release loosens up a little bit. I also presume an extended mag release would resolve the issue as well.

I’ll likely be getting a Gen6 19 COA when I can find one. Then maybe the classifieds here will be open again and I’ll sell my Gen5 COA.

I held a new gen 6 Glock 17 yesterday and I have to say it feels awesome in the hand, much better for some reason than the new 19. I much prefer my gen 5 19 MOS though would greatly consider the new 17.

I did have one question though, the 17 I held was the COA version and I wondered then what do you do after years and years using the Aimpoint optic, if you get sick of it or it stops working what is your option at that point? It looks robust as hell and I do like the set up, but I don’t know what else would work in place of it.

The COA comes with a plate and rear sight so you can “revert” the gun to an irons-only setup if you want. I’m sure at some point, plates that turn a COA cut into whatever else will be an option.

It was a thought I had, but I decided in the end that I was fine just going with it.

That's what I'm doing.
I bought a new one yesterday with 2 15 rd mags, $480 total at the local gun show.
Prices there ranged from what I paid to over $100 over what I paid.
Some vendors charging $40 more for the 15-round magazine 43Xs vs the 10-round magazines.
It's my understanding they paid the same for both.

Grit Grips stripped frame on order and on the notification list for the magwell.

Still trying to figure out which optic I want to try.
Looking at the Osight that y'all discussed.

I bought ANOTHER Glock, that's 2 in the last couple months. Big Grin

The Gen6 Apex trigger is really nice. A smooth 4 pound rolling break. Should be available end of next month.
