Although I have a pair of ex LEO Sigs, a 226 and a 220; when I had a chance to pick up a used Kansas Highway Patrol Glock 21, well, I finally got my Glock. It's a fine shooting sidearm, only downside is that I have to load FMJ only for it; the Sigs are not so picky, they don't mind lead at all.

You can shoot jacketed hollow points all day long in the OEM Glock barrel. That's what most cops carry anyway. If you load your own and shoot cast bullets, get an after-market barrel (KKM or something similar) and shoot all the lead bullets you want. SIGnature: Jere

After 7 years of owning and shooting guns, I finally bought a Glock 19, Olive drab. The recent Glocks have a slightly rougher finish on the slide (not a RTF model). It is easier to rack to slide with a fully loaded magazine now; I love it.

Accidently bought another one. Didn't even want one, but for $250 I had to take it. So now I own a Glock 22 in addition to a G26, G34 & G20SF

parabellum, you had to bring this thread back from the dead. I bought a Glock (Glock 22 2nd Gen to be exact) about 6 or 7 years ago. I kept it about about a year then sold it. It was the most inaccurate POS I ever owned. Not saying all Glocks are that way but the one I bought was. It was the only gun I've ever picked up and not been able to keep a decent grouping. Maybe I just got a bad one that slipped through the cracks, it happens with every gun manufacture. Regardless because of that experience, I'll probably never own another Glock. My buddy just got a second hand but new G21 SF with the new light rail for $300 freakin dollars. It didnt come with a mag or box or anything though, but the gun is spotless and if it has been fired its got me fooled. The breechface is flawless, not even the slightest ring, the bore spotless, bbl, etc, etc. Lucky SOB. Its a really nice gun. I still like my 228R though. If I wanted a fullsize 45 like that Id get an HK45. When I get a Glock itll be a 19 fo sho.

Confession time. After complaining about the way my G22c points and handles for a year now, I worked on dryfire drills off and on during the winter. Last weekend I was fooling around on my range and I came in to sit and check out the Forum. after a while I grabbed the G22 slammed in a mag of hardball and went straight out and shot it, in a "most-ricky-tick" fashion. I was more than a little pleased with the results. I may actually be starting to like it.

The immortal thread ressurects itself again. The second coming of the Sith... -Darth Sarge HK, Glock, Walther and SIG are my choice in handguns. Weapon Shield CLP for all pistol care. It is a hell of a lot easier to get out of jail than it is to get out of the morgue...

A Glock 20 SF has rekindled my love of Glock pistols. My first 9mm pistol I bought was a Glock 19....it got me hooked on shooting. When I discovered Sig pistols the G19 has been basically sitting in the safe collecting dust. The Glock 20 SF has changed everything.....I now find myself wanting a Glock 29 to possibly replace my P2000sk as my main CCW. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The price of liberty and even of common humanity is eternal vigilance

Why yes, hello newbies. This is SIGForum but we love our Glocks too. If you don't like it too bad. You can leave. Oh, and you will buy a Glock. In 9mm of course. __________________________ They keep saying they just want "sensible gun laws" but they hold up countries where they are banned and confiscated as their ideal. Antis thinks guns are only good for killing people. I think guns are good for self defense. So I'm the one with the "problem"? The Bill of Rights affirms the Rights of the Individual Not the State. God, I thought this thread died last year! I bought a new 9mm. No, it wasn't a Glock but a Walther! Shot both side by side. Glock seemed like a bad idea compared to the Walther. The bigger the hole, the harder they squirt!

Gloom, despair and agony on me. |
And like last year you are still drawn to post in this thread.
