I wanted this thread to be wrong so badly. I never wanted to stray from the Sigs I have been shooting. But sadly I have purchased a GLock 17 and a GLock 26. Now I am currently scheming on how I can get a Glock 19 for myself.

Does it ever end?

So, how is it that my 'prediction' has come true for many of you? Just exactly what is up with that? Do Para have heightened powers of perception? Razz

Seriously, read through the thread and see how many members have succumbed. Why for ya think that is? Am I a Svengali, or was this a no-brainer to begin with?

NOT FOR ME! HAHAHAHHA!

I got another DW 1911, this time in 10mm. A G19 is still at the top of my to-buy list though.

I caved and got a G17 Gen 4. Now I'm in line for a G19 Gen 4 when they come out. I'm so ashamed of myself, I'm so weak.

Doesn't matter what the press says. Doesn't matter what the politicians or the mobs say. Doesn't matter if the whole country decides that something wrong is something right. This nation was founded on one principle above all else: The requirement that we stand up for what we believe, no matter the odds or the consequences. When the mob and the press and the whole world tell you to move, your job is to plant yourself like a tree beside the river of truth, and tell the whole world -- "No, YOU move."

I shoot a 22 4th Gen like that and it sucks. The new finish is worthless.

Damn!! I resisted opening this thread for months until today. I'm not gonna read 62 pages of Glock drivel.

I don't and won't own one. Son bought one though, thinking about disowning him. Advice? Where did I go wrong? We raised him right I thought.
