+1 on the "You will buy another Glock new thread. Big Grin

If it helps Snake, The Glock 22c my wife bought me was my first .40 and my first Glock. I now have a Sig and a CZ .40 and still just the one Glock. (Don't tell Para, but I am beginning to like the damn thing. I actually CCW'ed with it the other day. SHHHH don't tell)

Well, we have a local SIGForum shoot this weekend and Smitty908 is bringing a G22. We'll see how it shoots. That'll determine if I get a G22 or not.

I'm not really excited about adding another caliber to the SD/Carry mix (.380/9mm/.45 are enough), but I have a semi-logical reason to do so...

My wife got me a G19 for my wedding present. Love my -19!

Well, he's actually right. The Glock was in fact secretly engineered to cull the population of gangbangers, wannabe gangbangers, all around losers and dipshits in more ways than one. Glock Inc. in fact encouraged movies to show gangbangers slipping Glocks in the waistband pointed at the crotch area. It is very unforgiving of outright stupidity. Unfortunately there's been this insane push to provide a more gangster proof handgun.

Glocks are excellent guns and they shoot and shoot and shoot. That said I sold all three of mine when I transitioned to Sig's and haven't looked back.

The beauty of handguns is there is something for everyone out there and that's what makes it fun.

The 19 is Glock's best gun IMHO. Great weapon.

Well, I bought another Glock 19 yesterday. A guy locally had a LNIB third gen red label with night sights, three mags and an IWB Don Hume holster, mag holder and 100 rounds of defensive 9mm for $475. He said he only ran 100 rounds though the gun and it didn't even look as if he even shot that much. I guess he put it in his safe after that since the gun has a 2006 date code and has no wear marks or anything. My thumbs are still sore from wrestling with the trigger pin last night after I did a detail strip and clean. The gun is still super tight.

I would have been a moron to pass on one of the greatest 9mm's ever made for under $500. This weekend I am going to take it out and run 500 rounds though it and start breaking it in.

I have a P6 and wanted a P228, but now that it looks like at least $550 for a decent used one, I am reconsidering. With Sig's failure to maintain parts for old guns and continual slide in quality with new guns...

I think I want another Glock 19 with RTF2 frame. I don't love the Glock, but I'm worried about not having a replacement on hand. It's like needing to have extra batteries in the drawer.

It's not a "plastic pistol", bright boy, and if you think it is, then perhaps you shouldn't be handling firearms.

I just picked up my 4th yesterday. I went through the police academy with a 19, about 3 years later upgraded to the 32 which I still have.

I used to have a 27 which I traded for a TT 229 in .357.

I just traded a S&W 3913 for a brand new 26 w/ 3 mags with the +2 and a 19 mag with the adaptor, thanks timQ!

Turned out it was a 2nd gen Glock 19 in very good condition. This guy inherited it from his father, and he shot it back in 1999 to qual for his CHL and never carried it or shot it any more. My friend bought it from this guy with 2 10 round mags, an uncle mike's OWB holster with thumb break/mag pouch, and a box and a half of ammo for $450.
