What is left that is actually "Glock"?

The frame?

Very nice. Big Grin

Lol. Thanks. The slide is factory too. Just slightly altered.

I think it is missing the bayonet. Big Grin

What holster does it get?

That's pretty slick.

Thanks. Carries AIWB great.

My 2nd Gen G19 and G42 are getting lonely. I'm going to keep an eye out for a great deal this week on a Gen 4 G17 or G34, maybe even one of the MOS models. Would be interesting to have the option of putting an optic on one.

As an owner of both, you've got the carry guns covered. I'm toying with the idea of a G34 or looking out for a 17L, ideally first or second gen. I think I could stop there.

My election celebratory G26 4th is on the way from Texas. Can't wait. I had PJ make me a holster for it.

So are there still some brass to the face issues going on with some of the Gen 4 9mm pistols or has it been pretty much resolved?

Sometimes I hate this thread. With the apparent problems of the finish work and QC of the M9A3, now instead and partially inspired by your Glockenstein (well, mostly your 'big racking ear'), I have another G19 on hold for me at work, this time a MOS. It's a disease... Big Grin

In addition to the Gen 2 G19 pistol, I picked up a new Gen 3 G26 last weekend.
The G26 ia a near perfect fit for my hand and only weighs 1 oz more (actually weight, unloaded) than my S&W Shield.

WTF was I thinking/waiting for all these years ???? Roll Eyes

Should have never, never, ever, ever, touched a G17 then I would have probably come around years ago (i.e. I think I 'get it' now).

I highly recommend GAP Finger Rest Extensions for your G26.
I have them on my Gen 2.5 G26 and had them on my Gen 2.5 G33 before I sold it.
They make the short grip comfortable and controllable... IMHO.. Big Grin

You won't regret the RMR. They are awesome.

I'm looking forward to using it on a pistol. With Christmas coming up I can't buy another one right now, so for the time being I think I'll pull one off of one of my rifles...just to see how it goes, of course. Kid in a toy store... Wink

Brought the MOS home yesterday. Right now I'm deciding if I should go ahead and just get the slide refinished right away to head off any potential corrosion problems down the road. Someday I'll have to take a group pic of all of my compact frame Glocks...if this acquisition rate keeps up I might not be able to get them all in one frame!

Thanks but absolutely no need for that.
Unlike the Bereta Nano, Sig P938, S&W Shield that I own(ed) all of which benefited from an extension of some sort, the G26 locks in solid to my grip.
A G19 mag and X-Grip adapter will suffice if and when I want additional grip.

Only mod this G26 might need (for my medium, slightly long finger size hands) would be a little relief at the back of the trigger guard to allow a bit more room above the finger groove for my middle finger.

I did buy a Glock earlier this year. The deal was too hard to pass up. I found a Glock 17 Gen 2 (1989 mnfr), that had hardly been fired. Two different long time Glock armorers both said "less than 500 rounds" due to lack of barrel smile, slide wear, finish wear, trigger wear, etc.

I'm the 3rd owner. It came with two Glock mags (both stamped "LEO/Mil only" so that means not original), and no box, papers, mag loader, etc. No biggie.

I paid $300 out the door. Since acquiring it, I've bought another Glock factory mag and 6 pmags. Oh, and I've put night sights on it too. I think I've put 250-300 rounds though it since acquiring it.

The deal was too good pass up. I wasn't even in the market for one but I happen to be in the right place at the right time. Smile

5 sizes of 9mm. Subcompact single stack all the way to the 1911 sized G34. Smooth triggers on all except the 43 because last time I checked no smooth trigger available. I dot pros on all in lime green. Same controls, same trigger, mag interchanges with most. Same same same to the point of absolutely mind numbingly boring, the way I like it. Practicing on one is practicing on all. Just pick the size you need and go. Hard for me to argue with.

Nah, I use the G34 for HD in the nightstand, no need for anything longer. I don't game and if I did the 34 could be used for that. The rest are carry pistols. I got this set for the election and a shit ton of mags, in case it went the opposite way. Now that they are set up how I want, well with that 43 I'm having a hard time using anything else for "duty". It's like carrying the same pistol in any size really. If I rotate another platform in, we'll it won't have all the sizes and won't be as functional. The magazine prices just spoil the fuck out of you.

I do have a set of revolvers with the same grip angle I want, but that's about it, at least until the Gen 5's debut Big Grin

How do you like the 34? 99% sure that's my next purchase.
