I've been resisting buying one of those ugly God-forbidding Glocks. As of 1-8-11 I succumbed to the evil ways of the gun they call Glock.

I traded a used USPc 45 for a new G35. You ask, why would I trade a lofty HK for a lowly Glock. My answer is, I have an amputated first joint on my index finger forcing me to use my middle finger as a trigger finger. This causes my high riding "stub" to dis-engage the slide lock on the HK when firing. This causes the take-down lever to fall out at inopportune times… NOT GOOD!

I was distraught to say the least to get rid of my USPc, which I've yearned for since they were introduced.

Long story short, I shoot the 3rd gen G35 better than any centerfire pistol I own, or have ever owned.

Color me happy!

My first handgun was a G23. I hated it. It is one of only 2 handguns I have ever sold or traded. I now have quite the collection. I have 4 9mm glocks and they are on the short list of my most favorite handguns. A G19 is my daily carry. The beauty of a glock is it's reliability and simplicity. A retarded chimp could detail strip a glock. I love glocks!

I will be buying a Glock 19 though the GSSF program before the sun sets on Friday. This thread is to blame. That is all.

I was 48 before i found about Glocks. I would never even held one. I just was not interested. So some med. problems had me looking for a lighter weight guns. I now have 12 Glocks's since July. I like my G21sf rtf2 maybe the most. I also have 20sf i might buy a 21sf rtf2 lower and build a G20sf Lonslide in rtf2 that would be a great 10mm. If i can find just a lower or buy another and sell the upper. Glocks are very versatile fun projects.

I have a 30, first gen,

works like it is supposed to,

it's my nightstand gun, night sites etc,

still not a fan,

Dad has a 17 that I will take to the range one day, and may, or may not fall in love,

meanwhile I have shot a 1st gen 21, too bulky for my hands,

(for the record, I have several sigs, 1911's and hp's, as well as some high standards, and SW's revolvers that I like)

I can say I have not drank the koolaid,
however I have not sold that 30 yet,,,,,,

think about it once in a while, but always seem to leave it be,,,,,

I am pleased to report that as of yesterday morning, my house is now Glock free.

I don't think that there is anything wrong with them, they are just not my cup of tea.

I really tried to like them, I cleaned them, put Trijicons on them, and I even bought one a VM-2... still nothing.

Coupled with the fact that I did not find them all the comfortable to shoot, they had to go.

I hope they are in a better place now.

Well, I bought my daughter a Glock 19 back in May, and I ordered a Gen 4 G19 for myself today. I had intended to buy one in October, but bought a friend's P220 instead. I sold it to a new Sig convert yesterday.

I will buy a Glock.

After I've hit the lottery and bought every other conceivable firearm, I will purchase my first Glock.

Seriously, I don't hate on Glocks, they're perfectly fine pistols. I just don't like the controls; I have to shift my grip too much to drop the mag. I also didn't like the polymer feel, but since I've gotten used to the feel due to the MIAD rifle grip, it's less of an issue now. Still prefer Hogue rubber wrap arounds on my P229.

Mine arrived, survived the first 105 rounds without a hiccup, and joined up with a Streamlight.

I will be buying my second Glock today. A G-17 Gen 4. I'm also trying to find a G21sf-RTF. I got my GSSF card in the mail yesterday. I was never sold on holding a polymer pistol but after shooting my G23 now for several months I believe Glock has a excellent dependable product. I have to admit Para's fondness along with other members push me over the edge. I still love my Sigs more though.

Okay, so I admit, I went to the LGS yesterday and played with some glocks. Eek They are obviosuly well-built, reliable firearms, but how do you get used to the grip angle? I am used to SIG, HK and 1911's and everytime I pick one up and point it the front sight is way high. I have to make an obvious wrist-break in order to align the sights. Someone help me figure out the love. Thanks.

I just bought a NIB gen 4 G23 yesterday. It joins the Glock stable with a gen 2 G22, and a a G27.

I noticed some improved fitting compared to my G22, no doubt caused by the M&P.
