Time magazine Democratic lawmakers on Wednesday introduced a resolution to impeach Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, accusing him of abuse of power and war crimes, among other allegations. The six articles of impeachment, which have almost no chance of passing due to Republicans’ slim majority in the House, were first reported by Axios. The resolution is led by Democratic Rep. Yassamin Ansari of Arizona, the first Iranian-American Democrat elected to Congress. The eight Democratic co-sponsors of the bill include Reps. Steve Cohen of Tennessee, Jasmine Crockett of Texas, Nikema Williams of Georgia, Dina Titus of Nevada, David Min of California, Shri Thanedar of Michigan, Brittany Pettersen of Colorado, and Sarah McBride of Delaware. The trump admin is doing a masterful job of reshuffling the deck to change the tone of the negotiations. Flip the script on their threat to stop traffic through the strait by implementing a blockade by the world's most powerful navy. Seize their bank accounts so they can't fund their proxies (e.g. hezbollah, hamas, houthis). The difference between a politician and a strategist. The politician does everything with the focus to make himself look good, even if it is and empty façade viewed from an deceptive angle. The strategist will do any and everything, even taking "damage" in order to succeed in the goal and ultimately win the prize. Because the legacy outlives the façade. And the legacy is built upon a true and solid foundation, that is why it endures. Trump is not perfect, but he's a likable "junk yard dog". From the article "Critics argue that without American military power, the European proposal risks being largely symbolic. Britain and France are overstating what they can realistically achieve, The Henry Jackson Society analyst Barak Seener said. "Britain and France are playing at being relevant as so-called ‘Middle Powers’ in international affairs," Seener told Fox News Digital. "It is laughable that a European coalition of ‘non-belligerent’ countries that are only willing to engage once hostilities have ended can even speak of protecting its shipping lanes," Seener added." Couldn't have been better said. European "powers" are effectively no more than a ceremonial force suitable for a parade. Even if they wanted to do something, which they don't, they don't have any capability to do it. ---------------------------------- "These things you say we will have, we already have." "That's true. https://www.yahoo.com/news/art...&bt_ts=1776433447640 Trump and Iranian foreign minister say Strait of Hormuz is fully open BEIRUT (AP) — U.S. President Donald Trump and Iran’s foreign minister said Friday that the Strait of Hormuz is now fully open to commercial vessels, as a 10-day truce in Lebanon appeared to hold. The truce offered a pause in fighting between Israel and the Hezbollah militant group and could clear one major obstacle to a deal between Iran and the United States and Israel to end weeks of devastating war. But it remained unclear whether whether the militant group would recognize a deal it did not play a role in negotiating and which will leave Israeli troops occupying a stretch of southern Lebanon. In a social media post, Trump said Iran announced that the strait “is fully open and ready for full passage.” Minutes earlier, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi posted on X that the passage for all commercial vessels through the strait “is declared completely open” in line with the ceasefire in Lebanon. He said it would stay open for the remaining period of the ceasefire. It was not immediately clear what that meant for the U.S. blockade of the strait, but Trump said the blockade would “remain in full force” until Iran reaches a deal with the U.S. to end war. Meanwhile in Beirut, barrages of gunshots rang out across the city as residents fired into the air just after midnight to celebrate the beginning of the truce, and displaced families began moving toward southern Lebanon and Beirut’s southern suburbs despite warnings by officials not to attempt to return to their homes until it became clear whether the ceasefire would hold. A spokesperson for the U.N. peacekeepers in southern Lebanon said Friday that they have not observed any airstrikes since midnight, but accused the Israeli military of violating airspace and artillery shelling in southern Lebanon. The Israeli military did not immediately comment. According to the agreement shared by the State Department, Israel can act in self-defense against imminent attacks but cannot carry out offensive operations against southern Lebanon. Trump heralded the deal a “historic day for Lebanon,” even as he expressed confidence that the war with Iran would soon end in a Las Vegas speech. cont... https://www.theepochtimes.com/...6lyNLUGO5SFmVPFZA%3D Iran Announces Strait of Hormuz Is Fully Open During Israel–Lebanon Ceasefire Trump thanked Iran for the move but said the U.S. naval blockade of Iranian shipping would remain in force until Tehran agrees to a deal. Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Araghchi has announced that, for the duration of the 10-day ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon, Iranian forces will cease restricting shipping traffic through the Strait of Hormuz, the critical oil transit waterway that Tehran has been blocking in retaliation for U.S.-Israeli attacks that has become a focal point in the war. “In line with the ceasefire in Lebanon, the passage for all commercial vessels through Strait of Hormuz is declared completely open for the remaining period of ceasefire, on the coordinated route as already announced by Ports and Maritime Organisation of the Islamic Rep. of Iran,” Araghchi said in an April 17 post on social media. Araghchi’s announcement, endorsed in a Truth Social post by U.S. President Donald Trump, comes on the heels of a U.S.-brokered ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon, where Israeli forces have been battling the Iran-allied Hezbollah terrorist group after it launched attacks against Israel in response to the Iran war. “Thank you!” Trump wrote in the post, adding that Iran’s announcement means that the Strait of Hormuz is “fully open and ready for full passage.” In a follow-up message, Trump said that the U.S. naval blockade of Iran-linked vessels would remain in “full force” until the peace deal that Washington is negotiating with Tehran is “100% complete.” It comes as Pakistan’s army chief met with Iranian officials in Tehran on Thursday as part of a mediation effort between the United States and Iran to extend their temporary truce and help bring about a lasting peace agreement, with much uncertainty remaining around whether the frantic diplomacy can lead to a deal. This is a developing story. Check back for updates.

A few things come to mind- Why are you here? Go to Iran and be a politician there! I wonder what the people in Iran think about the war? Especially if the get the freedoms they deserve at the end of this. Another heaping spoonful of truth for the "Iran is punking us" crowd. It's time to accept reality. President Trump has made the right decisions, from initiating military action again Iran, to all the decisions he's made along the way. The results are evident, especially today. https://x.com/Bannons_WarRoom/.../2045148159559508088
