If you're interested in what's going on in Iran right now, this is worth the 15 minutes.

I am skeptical But certainly would like to see a major positive change for the majority of the people there.

What concerns me is that we've heard this refrain before. "They're good people who just want freedom and will be friends with the west". Iraq anyone?

Forty-seven years of hardline muslim indoctrination of students has undoubtedly produced millions of west-hating muslims.

Consider me cautiously optimistic. I would love to see a pre-79 Iran emerge, but there's a little bird on my shoulder whispering "be careful what you wish for" into my ear.

No, let's stick with the fanatical government that openly wishes death to America and Israel, because it could end up being worse than it possibly can be, which is what it is right now.

Yeah, that makes sense.

This could be a game changer for the Middle East if handled right.
Iran is behind so much of the death and destruction in the region.

While repetitive, she was articulate and distilled key points effectively. I also like how she called out Obummer as being aligned with and supportive of the "savages" - that should get the leftists in a twizzle. She paints a different picture of Iranians. Let's see if the "new" CBS reports on this correctly, if at all.

Glad to hear that she and virally in Iran are receptive to both ISR and PDJT indications of support.

Promising sign of a change that would be good. And if so, great way to start the new year.

Tonight, some on Twitter I SAID TWITTER are saying that some protesters have secured firearms, and others on Twitter are saying this is false, with some of the latter pointing out that in past riots, the Iranian regime has sent a few of their people into crowds of protesters, posing as protesters armed with guns, as a pretense for opening fire on defenseless protesters.

Thanks for posting that Para, I found it very interesting. That gal seems to have her shit together so I am going to "follow" her on Twitter for a while to keep up the events over there.

I really have no idea what the status of the exiled Shah was so I did a quick AI google of him and this is what I found:

"The last exiled Shah of Iran, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, died in 1980 at the age of 60, having been born in 1919 and overthrown in the 1979 Iranian Revolution. His son, Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi, is the current exiled heir and is 64 years old (born October 31, 1960"

So it looks like it's the Crown Prince they want back.

I'm waiting with baited breath to see how the mass public responds.
To overthrow the Ayatollah will take military assistance.
Maybe Israel is planning to lend a hand.

I love how that Iranian gal tossed Obama under the bus and brought to light the agenda of the American leftist.

I hope Israel doesn't interfere and isn't needed as that would be much better in the long run. Otherwise the usual suspects will make Israel the lightning rod and with real credibility.

If they can get the rank & file military behind this, the hardcore behind the regime should be looking for the exits quickly. That's when I'll get really excited.

Or, 47 years of indoctrination has taught generations that they were lied to and tricked. Now they hate everyone who lied and manipulated them, and Iranians want freedom above all else.

Seems a bit strange that the Iran story has just fallen off the radar major news outlets in the last day or so.
Yes, with a search you can find information and I understand the interest in Venezuela, but otherwise it's it's just MIA today.
They (the news media and public) can't walk and chew gum?

Corporate news media is interested in one thing only- ratings, because ratings equal advertising revenue: money. People are interested right now in Venezuela, because it is a spectacular story of daring military success.

In the case of Iran, it may also be that there is little to report at the moment.

There are always the independent journalists to fill the gap, but it is necessary for individuals to seek out this content. If you're a member of Twitter, you can start by following this account:
