Until the actual agreement is released for all the world to see, everything is just BS tease. How many times have we heard of threats, warnings and ultimatums, then breakthrough and deal will be reached within hours? I’ve lost count.

I will be surprised if a deal is struck. I don’t have any information about what actually is really going on. That being said I thought for sure that we were going to have to go back to bombing Iran.

I don’t trust anything the Iranians say or sign.

President Trump has all the information and it’s his decision to make.

Nothing accomplished!?!?!? Israel confirmed Iran was weeks away from building and using nuclear weapons and our intervention stopped that. I don't know about some of you but I prefer living above ground.

I don’t see that these people are ever going to sign a document to make a deal of any kind. They’re not like other developed countries. A deal won’t be made until all members of the revolutionary guard are dead. What’s left of the citizens that want freedom are too afraid and incapable of taking control.
Surely, Trump and his cabinet were aware of this when they were planning. I understand that Trump wants to reassure everyone that there’s more positives on the way, but telling everyone the Iranians are desperate for a deal every week is wearing thin. Obviously, whoever is desperate for a deal doesn’t have the power to make it happen.

Terms of Agreement
Those who know what’s happening aren’t talking, and news outlets like Axios and Reuters, who can’t possibly have inside information, are.

https://www.americanthinker.co...ms_of_agreement.html

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

Those critical of the president will always find something to whine about. I don’t trust Iran, but I trust president Trump more than any other president in my lifetime. If Iran gets a nuke, it’ll be because Trump isn’t a king and someone less competent is in power. If the American Left weren’t so hysterical and lost to false principles, we could be more confident that Iran is contained.

Marco Rubio Just Torched the Panicans Crying Over the Iran Peace Deal

Despite countless of President Donald Trump’s so-called allies defecting to criticize the administration for coming to a deal with the Islamic Republic of Iran, Secretary of State Marco Rubio has set the record straight on who is actually coming out on top.

“The idea that somehow this president, given everything that he’s already proven that he’s willing to do, is gonna somehow agree to a deal that ultimately winds up putting position when it comes to nuclear ambitions is absurd,” Rubio said at a press conference during his trip to India. “That’s just not gonna happen, but our preference is to address this through a diplomatic means and that’s what we’re endeavoring to do here.”

Rubio further expressed that it has long been Trump’s preference to find global, America First solutions through diplomatic means rather than unnecessarily put American troops in harm's way to achieve the same goals. “The problem is going to be solved one way or the other,” Rubio stated.

Rubio also quieted rumors that the Trump administration would allow the Iranians to have free reign over the Strait of Hormuz, one of the most vital shipping lanes in the world.

“If we allowed that to become normal, we’d be normalizing an unacceptable status quo and setting a dangerous precedent that can be replicated in this region and around the world,” Rubio said.

The details of the negotiated deal are expected to be released soon.

Let’s see what happens.

Venezuela isn’t resolved either, arguably worse now than before - all the current “president” has to do is outlast Trump.

The current president of Venezuela is literally Maduro’s former Vice President, who is now firmly in control of the country. The pro-American, pro-democracy opposition is powerless, as the best possible opportunity since Chavez came to power was squandered based on intelligence reports that unrest would follow, so the US decision was made to support the existing socialist party.

Trump’s political capital to project military power to effect change has been expended, so what I wrote is correct; all Delcy has to do is outlast Trump.

I’ve lived and worked in Venezuela, with dozens of trips, and have firsthand communication with the country on a near daily basis.

They had their brief window of opportunity. They blew it. Now we have someone other than the thug that was in place. Work with that. That is how the world works. It may only be slightly better, but on the geo political stage it ain't worse.

Facts, please - not fantasy. There was an opposition, ready to move - but the US decided to remove Maduro and immediately (within hours), declare that the entire government, minus Maduro, was “cooperating” and the de facto government.

I’ll give you the analogy: the US somehow extracts Adolf Hitler and Eva Braun, but declares that everyone else is still in charge. Himmler, Goering, Goebbels etc - that’s exactly what happened in Venezuela, and the opposition was immediately notified that they would not be supported by the US.

I trust Trump, but do not trust the people he selects; over and over again, they have advised him poorly, and he acts based on that information. He was advised that the situation in Venezuela would be unstable if the opposition was supported, and effectively withdrew all support.

So, there was no window of opportunity… and as for the geopolitics, kicking a can down the road rarely makes it better.
