The Democrat strategy is clear. They saw how well the "War on Women" worked against Romney. From the outset they planned a reprise. So, Megan Kelly in that primary debate launched the attack, thinly disguised as a question. She and the rest of the Clinton "media" flog it relentlessly.

It's the same tactic that George Stephanopoulis used when he asked Romney, out of left field, what were Romney's views on contraception. At the time, it was a WTF moment for most supporters of Romney, and for Romney himself.

But: Enter the "Republican war on women."

Are the American people so dense that they can't at this point see through the ruse? We'll find out.

The Democratic strategy is always character assassination. Politics aside, I don't think there is a man of finer character in business and government than Mitt Romney, but when the Dems got done with him, he was a woman-hating, bullying, corporate raider who gave cancer to old people. The Dems really are a sick bunch. It's sad that they're half the country. So who cares if Trump is a man-slut....they were gonna trash him no matter what.

Seems like the career politicians are scared that they will loose benefits they have, most likely taking some sort of a financial hit.

Being a working stiff, I am not sure what kind of back room deals they make to roll in the cash.
Pretty certain there is wide scale corruption on both sides of the aisle.

It is starting to become pretty clear that the term public service no longer applies.

I will vote a straight Conservative ticket regardless.
A choice must be made between the two candidates on the ticket.
A choice between bad and worst is what we have all the way around.
Democrats are worst and Republicans are bad.

Definately voting for Trump.
No he is not perfect and has many faults, but HE IS CHANGE.

Next election cycle I will work to keep those R's that abandon him off the ballot.
Not voting for a Republican because they opposed Trump is not an option during the General election.

This may well be what saves him. With Romney, any notion that he was less than God-like would be enough to kill his campaign. For Trump....the shock factor was already built in. While not a career politician, the masses already know him from other sources and he has a known persona. He's proving to be a tough opponent to destroy by defamation, as his character, for good or bad, was known going in.

Early voting does not start until the end of the month here, so we will have to wait till then. The big question I have is how did Democrats register 500,000 new voters this year vs. 60,000 for Republicans in Florida??? That does not even remotely make sense given the demographics of the state.

Well, he just took down his teleprompters because they weren't working.

Said the company who put them up is in the back trying to figure it out, but now he isn't going to pay them since it didn't work. lol

This might get messy.

Easy. You get a pen and paper and visit the local cemetary. "Mr.<insert name here>, you look like a Democrat. We appreciate your support".

I cant account for the numbers, however in several of the articles mainframe has been posting is that the republicans ground game/grass roots is sucking serious hind tit at getting new registered voters in. I think the exception this year was PA.

After reading several articles about the GOP it seems Hubris has really taken hold and they expect the public to vote for them and people to join the party. Perhaps its different in swing states but that is the perception I get.

Harry Truman, the last decent Democrat.

Maybe the last decent President. I like Ike, and everyone loves Reagan, but Truman inherited the whirlwind and managed it. Hey, I love a guy that sips bourbon and has the stones to launch nukes. And he may have been the Trump of '45

Washington, Lincoln, Reagan, Truman, it really would not matter. When the left was done with them they would be devil worshiping killers who eat puppies and keep Hitlers head in a cryo box hoping to bring him back to life. Modern media, with no real voice to lend balence, has become way too powerful. Someday though, the establishment will turn on them, and I would love to see the look on their faces when it happens.

The "Trump of '45?"

I just finished my 3rd reading of McCullough's biography, and several other bios in the past, a thorough tour and visit to Independence, MO and the Truman Library and watched a 2 disc DVD about Truman and I can't imagine what you could be thinking here.

Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.

When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown

Yes, he did great while the prompter was down. It came back up a while ago but he didn't mention it. Trump can be excellent on his own when he needs to be. Hitlery? Can you imagine her having to address a crowd for an hour with no prompter?

Oh I don't, especially given the sources they are coming from. It was meant more rhetorically but I cut my post short. I can check County sites to get a better idea if I really wanted to but not going to bother as I have better things to do.

I have never really gloated about "my" side winning an election, but I have my short and sweet social media post ready to go.

Not to take anything away from the original theme of this post. My question is to each of you and be honest in your answer.

Did you vote and how many of you voted for Obama in his first election?

Drudge has the numbers up, and Hannity has beaten Kelly in both categories, 25-54 viewers, and total viewers. To make it even worse for The Princess, Rachel Maddow beat her in both categories as well, and Anderson Cooper beat her in one.

Kelly is one of the most obnoxious of the "media" and I'm glad to see her fading. Now if they just would ALL fade....

Forget with no prompter-- can you imagine her addressing a crowd for an hour? 20-25 minutes is her max. Then the subcutaneous epidural pumping who-knows-what speed into her blood system runs out. And they have to rush her back to the cryogenic chamber. Or the coffin filled with Arkansas soil.

Voted.....for Obama? Are you asking seriously or are you a troll? Granted, John McCain wasn't a bargain but.......vote for Obama?

Maybe you're serious. Anything is possible these days.
