Good article. I think a major part of the problem lies with the RNC's sad obsession with getting the MSM"s approval. They should know its never gonna happen, yet they go snivvling after the media desperate for their approval.

Now, I'm done with the MSM AND the RNC.

I don't know where to best put this so I'll put it here instead of starting another thread.

Hillary's minions talk about her plans for gun control:

Hedley Lamarr: Wait, wait, wait. I'm unarmed.
Bart: Alright, we'll settle this like men, with our fists.
Hedley Lamarr: Sorry, I just remembered . . . I am armed.

I noticed I have been getting between 10-15 emails a day from Donald or his children, and the pace seems to be quickening.

I wonder what they are doing with the money they raise. I have seen one ad in the past few months and very little ground organization.

Trump has added a rally in Green Bay, WI, for Monday.

If it happens, you heard it here first: I think you'll see a Trump-Ryan "reconciliation" at the event. Hitlery would love nothing more than to boast at Wednesday's debate that the Republican leadership has abandoned Trump and that a vote for him now makes no sense. She can't use that ammo if they have publicly reconciled 2 days prior. Ryan has everything to gain and nothing to lose from doing so. Actually, the same can be said for Trump.

^ Is there any evidence, at all, to suggest Ryan would do so (reconcile with Trump)? Hasn't he, at pretty much every turn and meaningful milestone so far, done the exact opposite?

I mean, sure - it would be great - public perception wise, but it would be wholly inconsistent with pretty much everything we've seen so far. What makes you think so?

After watching news statements about the growing list of would-be Trump encounters, it seems clear that there is a concerted effort afoot. Even Ben Carson was pummeled on Morning Joe. I had never seen Joe in such a smug, self-righteous posture as that. It is at the point now where information really may not matter. It's about reinforcing decisions.

After watching a woman on TV claim that she was groped in her crotch, I saw a random written headline that read, "Why Donald Trump should not have his finger on the button." It made me feel somewhat tired. It is the time in the election cycle where people will probably tune out. But, perhaps that's by design.

It will be interesting to see if the conversation will turn to the issues that motivate me to support Trump in these last weeks. It reminds me that when people vote for president, they do not all have the same thing in mind. Some focus on superficial issues such as what someone looks like. Others want someone who will give them policies they seek on immigration, security, economics and etc. Some look for the most morally righteous person. Others look for someone who will bring the country together. Some just want someone to give them personal things/benefits from government. And, the list goes on.

Trying to change what someone's decisional framework might be is difficult. I hope the next debate addresses the significant policy issues we face because they seem quite buried in the titillation of now. Politics seems to turn into sport sometimes and trying to help others refocus in this environment has been challenging.

And if you've noticed, even though she has sworn under oath that she's turned in all her work related emails, we haven't seen any to or from Obama, and of course new emails keep popping up.

I can't stand Dana Perino. "Republicans" like her are the reason Obama won two terms and Trump got the nomination.

Right now it doesn't matter WHO the Republicans ran. The left wants to deliver the white house to Hillary, and nothing is off limits. You could literally run a newborn baby and the left would mount a smear campaign.

I am keeping a list of every "R" who came out against Trump. They will NEVER get a vote from me, even if that means electing Stalin himself. If it's going to come crashing down, I'd rather it be sooner than later. Hopefully I'll still be young enough to assist.

Which republicans are you asking about, the regular rank and file or the "leaders"? If it is the leaders, I would say they want Hillary, to keep the system in place.

It's too late to get there to hear it if you don't already have it on but.....the media is going to have a lot of fun laughing at Trump for the prelim "women's group" speakers at tonight's Charlotte rally. It is beyond lame.

Whoever authorized this should be taken out back and beaten. If they survive, beat them again.

Farrakhan trashes Hitlery and defends Trump. Yes, I know he's a nut and a racist/anti-semite, but he has a following of people that usually vote democrat. This is interesting.

The Democrat strategy is clear. They saw how well the "War on Women" worked against Romney. From the outset they planned a reprise. So, Megan Kelly in that primary debate launched the attack, thinly disguised as a question. She and the rest of the Clinton "media" flog it relentlessly.

It's the same tactic that George Stephanopoulis used when he asked Romney, out of left field, what were Romney's views on contraception. At the time, it was a WTF moment for most supporters of Romney, and for Romney himself.

But: Enter the "Republican war on women."

Are the American people so dense that they can't at this point see through the ruse? We'll find out.

Today, I decided to kill some time and quickly skim through the first couple of dozen or so pages of this thread. Very interesting, the tone and opinions between then and now are quite different. Trump (and a lot of us) has come a long ways since the summer of 2015.
