In Gallup's most recent analysis, 42 percent of Americans identify as independent, compared with 29 percent who say they are Democrats and 26 percent who say they are Republicans.

It's all about that 42%. Like Para said, everyone has made up their mind, but I think it's about getting that 42% to vote, as opposed to not voting, and hopefully they vote for a favorable outcome.

I agree with darthfuster. I'm in south Utah county, and it's as Mormon as can be. Not a single person I know talks about GB. Even my in-laws in Delta are voting Trump, and that is small town Utah. I don't know where these anti-Trump Mormons are hiding, but I can guarantee Utah will be a Trump state.

That's good news and confirms my wife's family and friends are complete loons on the fringe.

My sister is one of those libs threatening to leave the Country if Trump wins. Finally I will get to put my standby benefits to good use!

I think we've finally found the lib who will actually leave if Trump wins, following his announcement he will get a special prosecutor to put her in jail if he's elected.

As a Mormon, many of my family are disgusted by Trump's character and behavior and would t even consider Trump in a normal election. But as we've learned over the past year, this isn't a normal year. Trump will get enough votes in Utah. However here in California I have the luxury of voting for Trump or an independent. HRC will carry CA regardless.
