Trump/Cruz 2016. DT won't run for vp and he shouldn't. I think there is a groundswell of Trump support that transcends race and party lines.

Yeah, you know, dang, you're right. What we need is a polite guy; someone who will be nice to despots like Putin and Ayatollah Whoever and Kim Jung CrazyDude.

What use is a guy like Trump? All he could do is keep them guessing. What good is that? I mean, look at Putin: his actions towards the United States and its allies are in no way provocative. He's friendly and cooperative and you can trust what he says. All we need is a nice guy to talk him a little. That's all. Just a nice guy, and we all know that Donald Trump is not a nice guy.

So, he's out.

We are at a tipping point. If the invasion from Mexico, Honduras, Guatemala, is not stopped, we're done for. Yes, it's that simple-- some things just are. Look at it from any point of view-- economics, crime, overloaded educational, "safety net," and medical systems, cultural integrity-- any way you look at it: They keep coming, we are fucked.

Trump will stop the invasion. "Oh we can't build a wall! I mean, a wall-- nobody can build a wall!" Just watch. That is step one. Step Two, he'll start moving the illegals back to where they came from.

Our country can be reclaimed. We can turn things around. Immigration can again become a lawful process that strengthens the country, instead of chaos in the service of Democrats and Republican elites. It's possible. But it's now or never. We either fix our country and save it-- Make America Great Again-- or it will be broken forever.

Trump/Cruz would combine the action-orientation of Trump with the intellect of Cruz. I'm all for it.

This isn't really the future they wrote about. Trump would save money immediately since he wouldn't need a spokesperson. He could do his own press conferences- straight from the horses ass.

I'll send Biden $1 and tell him there's more where that came from if he runs Big Grin

No possible way trump is vp candidate.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

I'm enjoying the hell out of Mr Trump.
He is stating the obvious and the regular folks are opening up.

I don't know if he'll make it, but he's shaking the trees. I love it.

You forgot the major issue of the open border, DRUGS. Heroin deaths are up 3x in the last 5 years, it's all coming across the border.....among other drugs.

As I said last week, the possibility of Trump winning the GOP nomination has the ring of inevitability. If he gets a packed stadium at Ladd-Peebles stadiumI can't see what will stop him, except him.

He just fired a round across the bow of CNN. He stated to the effect that CNN should pony up a 10 million dollar donation to a charity of their choice as payment for his attending the next debate! In a not too subtle fashion Trump just told the national print and electronic media that he does not need them, they need him!

Contrary to what many are saying, so far, Trump is running a brilliant campaign.

Evidence?

1. Total control over the Republican narrative (Just wait until his position on trade with China comes out; as I am sure it will. Then we will see what happens to his poll numbers in swing states like Ohio).

2. His off the cuff and sometimes thoughtless statements have become a magnet for the media; they can not, not cover Trump because of what he might say. This lets him, and his message, dominate the airwaves. (To be sure he needs to trim the sails a bit in this area.)

3. He is a master of what successful sales people know; people generally buy for emotional reasons and they use evidence to justify purchasing decisions after the fact. He essentially said this when he said that his policy papers would be coming out but that the media was more interested in the details than the voters would be. Think Ronald Reagan and Morning in America.

4. Read his book, Time to Get Tough (2011). The message is the same; he does not flip flop on most of the big things.

5. He continually talks about what he has done/made to happen what the voter hears is that Trump is a doer; people want a doer.

Finally,
Trump's an Alpha dog...

As one writer put it: Trump's a volcano in a sea of Ronson lighters.

I lumped that in with crime. There is so much wrong with the open border, so many dangers, so many negatives, it would be a very long comprehensive list. Not only crime in all its manifestations, but also, for example, terrorism. Is it even conceivable that terrorists have NOT crossed the border?

Looks like he's a little nervous about giving a full "thumbs up" for fear of it turning into a "thumb gone" situation. I don't blame him. I wonder if that eagle is sizing his hairpiece up as a potential nesting spot?

The media isn't off balance, they're participating in psychiatric therapy sessions right now, trying to get their arms around their uncontrollable depression and fear. Wink

The Democrats are gonna crap their pants too. Oh, I can't wait. Trump being a monkey wrench in this well oiled Democrat/Republican Cabal will be fun in and of itself. They DID NOT plan for this contingency.

And here is the best part: They totally do not get it. The MSM, the establishment Republicans, the "pundits." They might as well all be in powdered wigs, dancing the quadrille at the court of King Louis XVI.

I admit it. I was both skeptical and ambivalent towards The Donald when he first announced. But as of late i'm thinking that he might just be what this country needs. A successful outsider not beholding to anyone.
