In the recent history of presidential politics, has anyone managed to sustain a lead that long?

Then again, everything about Trump's candidacy seems to defy convention, so, if anyone can do it, I guess Trump can.

Not to mention how very pissed off and fed up we all are.

And I believe that factor alone is at least good for 55% of the right wing.

We sent the majority to the house to put a wall up to the Obama regime and they pissed in their panties on prime night. So fuck the established repubs.

That story posted yesterday mentioned a few candidates wouldn't last into October. While many have been in Iowa Paul has been performing eye surgeries in Haiti. That's interesting when you combine it with stories he won't be able to run for both President and Senate. The movement of their support could change things. We'll see what happens. The next debate will be interesting.

The election is a long way off for sure, but the Donald has already proven himself capable of deflecting and surviving most things which would have probably sunk any other candidate. I'll admit, I thought he was done after that comment about McCain, but it barely slowed him down. It was like a sailboat getting in the path of a supertanker. The supertanker barely felt the impedance and just kept steaming along.

He didn't get to where he is being stupid, he is smart enough to know what he does not know, and hires the right people with that knowledge. He also has a big ego, that means he wants to win, unlike the present day squatter we have now. It's a long way to go, but the RNC and the talking heads on TV, don't know what to do, and can't explain it. I have never enjoyed this part of the elections as much as this, giving the finger to the establishment, and gaining in the poles every time he does it.

I was sick to death of PC. Totally disgusted with the RINOs and the pantywaist establishment Republicans. Pissed off at the America-hating, commie Democrat Party, and their lackeys in the media. And then....

And then-- along came The Donald.

Telling them all in his best Noo Yawkese to go take a flying fuck.

It was like the skies opened....

Speaking of anchor babies, here is Jeb Bush's response yesterday at a press conference (a full day after Trump's)

quote:

Q: Do you regret using the term “anchor babies” yesterday on the radio?

A: No I didn’t, I don’t. I don’t regret it. Do you have a better term?

Q: Uhhh, no. I’m asking you...

A: Ok, then, you give me a better term, and I’ll use it. I’m serious, don’t yell at me behind my ear though... Jeez.

A nice example of who is setting the dialog.

^^^It was a good response by Jeb, but I have no doubt that that exchange would've been much different had the Donald not already set the tone.

I have to admit myself that while I would still support a couple of the other candidates I like, I am starting to feel this way as well. But like Para said, there is a long way to go yet so I'm keeping my options open.

Up until he said you give me a better term. And can he say it with the same take no prisoners swagger?

I. Don't. Think. So.

Smart move by Trump. Align with Sen Jeff Sessions

http://www.breitbart.com/video...gave-us-great-ideas/

Trump said of Sessions, “it is true that I spoke to him, and my people spoke to him and his staff. And he has a great — you know, he’s not, and he is not a wild man.

You understand that. He’s a solid person. He’s not, you know, one of these guys that, [you say], ‘Wow, he’s pretty radical.’ He’s a very solid guy. And Alabama’s lucky to have him. He’s a great guy.

“Senator Sessions has given us some great ideas."

ok, fess up. Who had to smile when Trump said that Sessions was not a wild man ?
