A lot of media sites (mostly Internet) are rushing to report "results" and predictions so they can be first. At 4pm ET, absolutely none of them truly know anything. Nearly everything they're spewing will likely be incorrect.

It's not yet time for declaring anything. We're still a few hours away from that.

It should be illegal, IMO, to report any "results" until all the polls close.

The media will declare a state to a candidate with only 3% of the results counted. Ridiculous.

Best of luck to DT. Pulling for him.

It is impossible for a song to be a better fit for tonight at Trump's victory party than this one. It has even been referenced in Trump rallies. Read all of the lyrics....it is perfect:

I'm with you on this - for some reason this time I am feeling far more anxious than even 2008 or 2012?

Because this time we have a real choice rather than just another uniparty dweeb. It matters this time.

As much as I would have loved to have never had Obummer in the White House, much less two terms of him there, I am not sure that Mittens would have been decisively better (though I did vote for him).

It is unclear exactly what life will be like under President Trump, but it is hard to image that anyone could possibly be worse than Felonia von Pantsuit, the corrupt, venal, heinous excuse for a human being.

That is awesome! I wish I could say the same for Whackyland. Another 55 EC votes for sanity would be a beautiful thing.

Absolutely agree about the lyrics and it is just a great "feel good" song. Your link goes to a Frank Sinatra song though.

Here you go:

I've already listened to it a couple of times today as part of my "chill" session where I turned off the talking heads for several hours. Smile

I'll stick with "My Way." They both would be a great listen tonight in a long line of party songs at the event.

After following this election for nearly a year and a half, I cast my ballot this morning for Donald Trump. There was never a question about whether he would get my vote because I am in the NeverHillary camp, but over the last few months I went from voting against Hillary to voting for Donald Trump. I've seen a change in Trump - not just staying on message and playing smart politics, but a change that I think goes to who he is as a man and an American. I think his travels across the country and meetings with thousands and thousands of real Americans have had a profound impact on him. He now appears to be genuinely humbled by the awesome response to this movement he has spearheaded. He seems to feel the weight of the expectations and hopes of millions of Americans on his shoulders. My guess is that what started as a vanity project has now become a mission to do right by the people that the establishment has forgotten or betrayed. I hope he has the chance to see it through.
