I have nothing but contempt for the man, but making an issue of someone’s name that he was given by his parents, and especially long before it had any special historical significance, is no different than commenting about his looks. One of our former Presidents has the same first and middle name of a notorious murderer, but so what? He didn’t choose them for himself, and if he had it would have been before they anything other than just names.

I truly wish that the name of the man in the White House was the worst we could say about him, but it’s utterly trivial compared with everything else.

I don't associate the name Hussein with the 1 man (Saddam). However, I do link the name Hussein with Muslims. Which is exactly what Barack Hussein Obama is. By not allowing the middle name to be used, McStain gave up on trying to inform the public that FBHO is a Muslim. McStain is a pussy. That's why Republicans always lose, they give up any chance at winning, because they wanna be PC. That is, until Trump came along. Trump is winning (& will win in Nov) because he is not a pussy, would call FBHO Hussein, & will call Klinton a rapist, & generally not back down or give up.

Have read several articles w high praise for Trump's Supreme Court list.

Example:

http://www.nationalreview.com/...anding-conservatives

Everyone on the list is an outstanding legal conservative. All are young, smart, and committed. They would excel in any comparison with anyone whom Hillary Clinton would appoint to the Supreme Court.

Several of the possibilities, such as Tom Lee of Utah, Allison Eid of Colorado, and David Stras of Minnesota, are former law clerks of Justice Clarence Thomas, while others, such as Steve Colloton of Iowa and Joan Larsen of Michigan, clerked for Justice Antonin Scalia. They are joined by other well-known judicial conservatives, such as Diane Sykes, Don Willet, Ray Kethledge, and Bill Pryor.

These names are a Federalist Society all-star list of conservative jurisprudence.

The other promising sign is that Trump’s advisers have looked beyond the lower federal courts to include potential nominees from state supreme courts.

State supreme-court justices will have special sensitivity to the balance between federal power and state sovereignty. Many have run for office and already know what it is like to be attacked by the Left.

So many people constantly tell us what Trump is all about, and all of those people are routinely proved wrong.

Well, until he actually nominates one of them, no one yet has been proven right or wrong. It's just a list after all.

That list of possible SC picks though are all excellent choices. That at least is encouraging.

Is this the 1st time a candidate has provided possible SC picks before even being nominated? What a great idea.

And what if he isn’t a Muslim? Was Carlos Hathcock Hispanic because of his name? My wife bears a name that’s more often associated with men than women. Even if he is a Muslim, we should judge and evaluate people by what they do and say, not by things that they had nothing to do with. Otherwise it’s easy (and often valid) for the other side to label and dismiss us as bigots who make decisions on the basis of blind prejudice rather than sober observations and rational thought. To reiterate, there are plenty of good reasons to criticize that man without stretching them to encompass the trivial issue of his name.

latest Rasmussen poll:

Trump 42%
Clinton 37%

(likely US voters)

I know a number of members here do not have trust in polls, but if nothing else, numbers like this directly negate a prime criticism of Trump. That is that he cannot win the general election.

Right now I like anything that makes voters comfortable with supporting Trump.

Born and raised Muslim.

Has worked toward the advance of Islam ( and the downfall of Western 'Colonialist' nations during his tenure as POTUS. You know ... fulfilling the dreams from his father?)

His name IS significant.

"Obama's Kenyan birth father: In Islam, religion passes from the father to the child. Barack Hussein Obama, Sr. (1936–1982) was raised a Muslim and named his boy Barack Hussein Obama, Jr. Only Muslim children are named "Hussein".

Obama's Indonesian family: His stepfather, Lolo Soetoro, was also a Muslim. In fact, as Obama's half-sister, Maya Soetoro-Ng explained to Jodi Kantor of the New York Times: "My whole family was Muslim, and most of the people I knew were Muslim." An Indonesian publication, the Banjarmasin Post reports a former classmate, Rony Amir, recalling that "All the relatives of Barry's father were very devout Muslims." "

You can bet you bottom dollar that the Clinton camp is feeling a bit of panic about this.

A friend of mine told me the other day that he has even heard a couple pundits wondering out loud if Hillary will outright refuse to debate Trump in the general election run-up.

The Egypt Air Crash makes Trumps Presidency more likely.

The next 7 months are going to be historical.

It's refreshing to see a Republican candidate that is willing to take off the boxing gloves and fight with bare fists in the general election.

The Republican candidates of late have had no stomach for a barroom brawl.

Agreed.

Is he perfect? No.

But I think we need to shake things up a bit.

Coulter: I ‘Wasn’t As Much of a Little B*tch As George Will Is Being’ When McCain Won

Columnist and author of “Adios, America,” Ann Coulter said that the “sore losers” in the Republican Party over Donald Trump clinching the nomination “know how I feel when [Sen. John] McCain (R-AZ) was running” but that “I wasn’t as much of a little b*tch as George Will is being” on Friday’s broadcast of HBO’s “Real Time.”Coulter said, “The party is not split. Trump has gotten more votes than anyone else running in a republican primary. You are talking about a few sore losers. Now they know how I feel when McCain was running. So I hope they’re enjoying it. And by the way, I wasn’t as much of a little b*tch as George Will is being.”

^^^^Excellent lbj!^^^^

"Trump is like a raffish buccaneer, leaping about the rigging like the breezy Douglas Fairbanks or Errol Flynn, while Hillary is the stiff, sequestered admiral of a bullion-laden armada of Spanish galleons, a low-in-the-water easy mark as they creak and sway amid the rolling swells."

I can just picture Donald with the pirate's clothes with an eye patch...Oh, and toss in the parrot on his shoulder!
