Clinton "won" Kentucky by about 1700 votes. For her win, she gets 25 delegates. Bernie gets 25 as well, so it is a wash for her "win".

Sen. Sessions: Election offers a simple choice

Sen. Jeff Sessions and Donald Trump in Madison, Ala., on Feb. 28, 2016.(Photo: John Bazemore, AP)

For the first time in a long time, this November will give Americans a clear choice on perhaps the most important issue facing our country and our civilization: whether we remain a nation-state that serves its own people, or whether we slide irrevocably toward a soulless globalism that treats humans as interchangeable widgets in the world market.

In Donald Trump, we have a forceful advocate for America. Trump has said that our trade, immigration and foreign policies must be changed to protect the interests of American workers and our nation.

In Hillary Clinton, we have a committed globalist. Clinton was an ardent supporter of the Trans-Pacific Partnership — which surrenders American sovereignty to an international union of 12 countries — and has clearly left the door wide open to enacting the pact if elected.

There is only one sure way to defeat the TPP, and that is to defeat Hillary Clinton.

Meanwhile, Clinton’s immigration platform is the most radical in our history. Freezing deportations. Ending detentions. Halting enforcement. She’d expand President Obama’s illegal amnesty decree, effectively creating open borders.

Clinton’s extremist proposal economically targets our poor African-American and Hispanic communities whose wages and job prospects are being steadily eroded by the huge influx of new foreign workers.

Yet some Republicans persist in saying that they don’t know whether Mr. Trump is a “real conservative.”

This charge misleads in two ways.

First: Mr. Trump’s cautious approach to mass migration, transnational trade commissions and nation-building are, by definition, conservative. [Exactly! It is the Republican "conservatives" who are NOT conservative.]

Second, the divide between Trump and Clinton on the role of government could not be more stark. Consider just a few of the things President Trump would do after taking the oath: repeal Obamacare; nominate constitutionalist justices; replace Obama’s radical Cabinet appointments; reduce taxes and regulations; produce more American energy; rein in the out-of-control EPA; and cancel Obama’s illegal amnesties.

The choice is a simple one: Do we want a country that serves our people, or not?

Sen. Jeff Sessions, R-Ala., was the first senator to endorse Donald Trump

I'm sure every media outlet is combing through this list right now so they can tell us how bad they all are. Thankfully we live in a time when you can do this research yourself. I've been working my way down the list looking for opinions of note, particularly on 2nd Amendment cases.

For instance, Hardiman, a judge on the 3rd Circuit Court of Appeals, wrote a great dissent in Drake v. Filko, where the majority upheld New Jersey's may-issue carry laws that require a "justifiable need" to carry a handgun.

Money quote:
quote:
In sum, interpreting the Second Amendment to extend outside the home is merely a commonsense application of the legal principle established in Heller and reiterated in McDonald: that “the Second Amendment protects the right to keep and bear arms for the purpose of self-defense.” McDonald, 130 S. Ct. at 3026. Because the need for self-defense naturally exists both outside and inside the home, I would hold that the Second Amendment applies outside the home.

At first blush the list seems to be everything conservatives could hope. A brilliant move by Trump releasing this which should (if the first blush review of the list is accurate) serve to move the Party towards unity and crush the never-Trump jackwads.

Excellent point. The timing is great.

ETA: Have you seen the liberal media reporting of this? They are AGHAST that the list is all White. The reporting completely ignores their qualifications....they are all White so it CANNOT be accepted.

Not surprisingly, I suppose, Cruz is noticeably absent from that list.

Toast, he is. I wonder if he'll even stay in the Senate. I hope so.

In an interview with Hannity tonight, Trump will call Bill Clinton a rapist. This is why Hillary and the Democrats fear Donald.

Mittens didn't have the balls to even say "Benghazi" in his last debate with Obama. Trump will hold nothing back with the Clinton crime family. Their crooked foundation, the fortune they have amassed from "speaking engagements," the classified intelligence on her email server, Benghazi-- and Bill's long history of assaulting and raping women. Trump will hit them with every bit of it-- as no one else in that initial field of 17 would ever have dreamed of doing.

If Trump gets to debate Hillary he should use a large cigar as a prop. Like George Burns did when on stage. People would get the message and it would be devastating.

A Trump/Clinton debate will be the Super Bowl of Presidential Debates.

Hillary is an open sore, and unlike Mittens, Trump will poke and punch that cancerous wound non stop.

Her handlers must be shittin' bricks at the thought.

Even some Trump supporters keep wishing he would "tone it down," act "more presidential." But look at the characters we are talking about: Hillary and Bill Clinton. Look at the swamp of corruption. The arrogance, the ruthlessness, the deceit and treachery.

In this junk yard, we don't need lap dogs like Mittens. We need a junk yard dog. He might be a bit ugly, he might smell bad. But he will do the dirty job that needs to be done.

I think Trump will gut her like a fish. Nothing is off limits to him. Crude? Maybe.....but effective.

IMO, this is exactly what Trump should be doing. Those of us who tend to vote Republican have waited soooo long for someone with a backbone to emerge. Back in the day, we had Reagan and we also had Lee Atwater. Fast forward to 2016 and Trump is cutting out the middleman role Atwater used to play and is assuming it himself.

I think it's great. Voters, R or D, especially the simple, uneducated voter (the overwhelming majority), FEED on fighting, scandal, dirt, sensationalism....all the things the losers within the GOP have cowered from for 28 years. Trump deals it in spades and is very good at it.

Yes indeed...the Dems, and the TV leftists who stage the so-called debates (which are thinly disguised farces to attack the GOP candidate), have got to be in total panic mode. Trump and Hillary in a debate.....

Glorious.
