There are much bigger things going on, but it's interesting he would give up his job as editor.
I've seen numerous photos and watched a few videos of the event. I haven't seen anything convincing that backs up Fields's story. And that includes the video that Daily Beast was saying conclusively proved it was Lewandowski. Fields herself admitted she didn't know who grabbed her. Frankly, Breitbart has been the most rational about the whole thing. The text messages between Matthew Boyle and Lewandowski on the night in question prove that Daily Beast, the Blaze, et al. have been basing stories on third-hand accounts told by liars.

Believe what you want I just find it interesting. There are much bigger things going on, but I don't think someone as credible as Shapiro would resign as editor over nothing. I won't post his resignation, but it was really strong and there was evidently a lot of stuff going on behind the scenes.

If someone wants to it here is the link:

I'm not surprised Shapiro is leaving. I'm not happy about it but I am not surprised.

Shapiro must be an idiot. Instead of apologizing for being being wrong, he would rather resign? That's his call.

Is this the same chick that claims she was groped by Allen West? I believe West LONG BEFORE I would this bitch, especially now that this has happened. Looks like she is a pathological liar to me. She was obviously not thrown to the ground or anything that she claimed.

Shapiro & Fields make it three people who have resigned after this battery.

Breitbart's response is quite juvenile. Breitbart's Story on Shapiro resignation

The battery was witnessed by Ben Terris, a reporter from the Washington Post.

I do think Trump is a bully, but considering the choices, I certainly consider him the lesser of evil; which is what presidential elections have pretty much become.

Ben had one foot out the door at Breitbart already. When you attack Trump harder than Bernie & Killary week after week after week I don't see how you have a future there for long.

This Shapiro thing is stupid. Ben doesn't support Trump, but it's because he thinks Trump isn't Conservative enough. Talk about snowflakes...they are blowing this 'assault' way out of proportion over what amounts to a personal pissing contest...

Some weird stuff going on for sure.

http://www.breitbart.com/big-g...ues-uncertain-climb/

Former Breitbart News editor-at-large Ben Shapiro announced Sunday evening via left-wing Buzzfeed that he is abandoning Andrew Breitbart’s lifelong best friend, widow, hand-picked management team and friends in pursuit of an elusive contributorship at the Fox News Channel.

Shapiro, a Harvard lawyer and member of the State Bar of California, apparently violated virtually every clause in his employment contract during an appearance on The Kelly File last Thursday evening.

*****************

The Michelle Fields story is an utter bullshit nothing burger.

Given what is at stake in this election and the potential danger to the leading Rep candidate, a reporter moving towards the candidate and then getting grabbed by the arm is a nonstory.

Do you really think Lewandowski is in charge of rough handling reporters ?

Yeah, me too.

It often takes a while before I get angry over political BS like we are seeing now. BUT, the dirty tricks perpetrated by the Cruz campaign have achieved it.

Would Cruz be a better president than the hildabeast? No question, but would not be my first choice. Rubio is a charter member of the GOPe, as is Kasich.

Battery? You can't be serious. Unless there is a video some where that I haven't seen, she was certainly not battered. She has a history of lying about shit just like this.

So 2 lying reporters claim something. Do you think a reporter from the Washington Times might have his own motives as well?

For all the problems Trump does have, this is what is being discussed?

This is like jumping into a mosh pit, & claiming battery.

Kasich – Another Spoiler Kamikaze

As Kasich’s Kamikaze campaign comes in for its Ohio hit, it is fair to ask just what Kasich is wanting to do? With Boehner now endorsing Kasich, the flavor of his campaign becomes more defined but not more palatable.

On the Second Amendment, Kasich raised his NRA rating from F to A. But, Kasich supports gun bans for people who are on the secret “no fly” list. He also supports banning guns from those who may seek the aid of a psychological counselor. Presumably, this would include those in need of psychological care and elderly people who, although not violent, would simply need aid in how to handle extraordinary circumstances of life. He describes his stances on the Second Amendment as “sensible legislation” but that term has a strange smell to it.

Kasich favors the job-draining and industry-bleeding TPP. He also proudly pushed for NAFTA despite what it did to lose jobs and manufacturing - even in Ohio. He seeks a path to “legalization” for illegal immigrants and favors common core.

Kasich’s primary policies and philosophy are designed to get to a convention in hopes that insiders can nullify the plurality and even the majority of voters.

Just a week ago in Monroe Michigan, Kasich said,
"In order to be the nominee, you have to have a certain number of votes," . . . "Not like, a plurality. You’ve got to have a certain number. You know, it’s like anything else in life, there’s certain rules.” . . . "The delegates will be smart, and they’ll figure it out." Kasich shows his corruptible reliance on malleable party “rules.” He's even campaigning with Kamikaze Romney today to push anyone but Trump.

It now seems doubtful that Kasich will be true to his word: "If I don't win Ohio, then it's time to call it over." The only way to stop Kasich’s hope in corruptible convention “rules” is to see Kasich’s defeat by Trump in Ohio.

While it is true that primary convention rules and shenanigans are part of the primary process, a clear winner would discourage a temptation to thwart the voters.

When someone as well liked and respected as Shapiro resigns as editor it's a legitimate story. You can agree or disagree with him and his motives, but his resignation is being talked about quite a bit in the conservative world. If you prefer to live in ignorance that is your choice, but don't attack me for posting about it.

Quinnipiac University Poll released today:

Ohio Republican - Trump and Kasich tied at 38 - 38 percent ,

with Cruz at 16 percent and Rubio at 3 percent.

There is a gender gap among Ohio likely Republican primary voters as men back Trump over Kasich 40 - 33 percent while women go to Kasich 44 - 37 percent.

and Ohio is winner take all

Florida: Trump 46% // Rubio 22% // Cruz 14%

Florida is also winner take all

Kasich has become such a pain in the ass.

As mentioned earlier, he actually just missed getting enough signatures to be on the PA ballot.

His team is arguing in court that the objection to the signature count was made 13 minutes too late.

A court is going to decide the matter.

Soros Fund Management donated $200k to Kasich
